1.
This is the same guy selling a CSL Jazz copy for £445! "Captain Fujigen"? Jon.
which he bought the other week for £195
2.
It's nice, but it's not £500+ nice. Polishing cloth, but he seems to be missing the rest of the tool kit. Brochure, but not tags.
It is a very nice example. I set it up for the last owner a few months back - the chap he bought if from obviously hadn't used it for years, and there was such a bow in the neck I had my boubts that it would actually straighten. It had the original Yamaha leather strap as well, which you don't see very often. It's a bit annoying how this seller implies that he's had this bass for years, and is only selling because he can't live on his pension etc. when he obviously bought to resell. Potential buyers won't be aware of that since you can now only search for completed listing less that 15 days old - it used to be several months.
3. That's some inflation rate - Bought for £275 last December and now listed at twice the price!

Just sold an SB-R60 to Tony, and he's a pleasure to deal with! Enjoy the bass...
6. Fit like Ann..
7. Now on hold.
8. Yes - winter bump.
9. And up again...
10. I probably had the first of these in the UK. It was a demo unit used at shows throughout Europe, so had a few little marks. I considered my BB2000 to be a better bass so returned the BB1024. I'd heard such good praise for the BB2024 that my expectations were probably set a little high.
11. You must be going for the basschat record for the number of seperate sale threads for the same bass. You'll probably have more success if you keep it to a single thread.
12. Price looks fine to me, it's just not a good time to sell.
13. Now withdrawn.
14. Last bump, I'll be withdrawing on Sunday if no interest.
15. Best I can do at the moment:
16. Bought this a few months back from iconic at a great price ([topic="101664"]Richard's thread[/topic]). Probably as good an example as you will find (there's some surface corrosion on the bridge, which might clean off - I haven't tried). Richard has pretty much set the bass up perfectly, so I haven't had to change a thing. I'll only post with a hard case so looking for what I paid (£280) plus say £30 for a case. Payment by bank transfer only.
17. And not one comment on that beautiful carpet!
18. As Jack Bruce would say - it's a bloody good axe! Lovely neck on this bass, it seemed to me to have a bit more depth front to rear than many jazzes. Very comfy. The case for this went on an Australia and Asia tour with an acquaintance of mine, and ended up having the innards ripped out before being sent back from Japan stuffed full of Manga magazines!
19. Crazy price. Can't believe any of you guys with a regular paying gig haven't snapped this up.
20. Now withdrawn...
21. Bump.
22. Here's a photo or two.
23. Good condition Walkabout head - it's a 110/120V model so selling for only £399 + shipping. Has spare tubes and spare glass covers for front panel bulbs - looking for a quick sale, so it's not going to be on offer here for long... NB - a suitably sized step down transformer will cost about £20 (I'm keeping mine because I have other 120V kit)
24.
I appreciate the measurements are on the Fender site but I wondered which of Fender's current crop of Jazz basses have a thicker neck. I know Jazzes are narrower at the nut than Precisions but some must have thicker necks. I'm toying with the idea of picking up a Jazz but want one with a neck that is closer to a P-bass and suspect I may wind up changing the neck if I do wind up getting one. At the moment the 60s MIM Classic is looking favourite.
I bought a 60's Classic from dub_junkie a year or so ago and couldn't play it any length of time because of the neck shape - it certainly wasn't deep enough back to front for me. I had the same problem with a Lakland Duck Dunn. I'm noodling with a roadworn at the moment and get on OK with that. I'm pretty sure most of the MIJ/CIJ 60's jazz's I've had have been fairly deep back to front.
