1. Yes indeed...great basses. Have fun with it!
2. Such a beautiful job....I love seeing old classics brought back to life.
3. Quality control is excellent on all varieties. Really great basses for the cash!
4. Does Frank offer any of his astrology chart services throughout or is that an extra charge? £750 is ridiculously cheap for someone of his ability.
5. Follow your heart and move the 78 on. You already know this is the right thing to do on an unconscious level. You already have the Lakland Glaub, and as you consider it close then put your health first (always) and take it on the chinny, chin, chin.
6. Theres nothing wrong with changing basses, it often freshens tings up and reinvigorates your paying.....but be aware the perfect bass does not exist. It is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
7.
My bass player in my pub band used them
A bass player that has a bass player.....now that is cool!
8. Louis Johnson was a big influence on me during the early 80's. What an amazing bassist
9. I was a huge Rush fan for about 30 yrs, however their work over the last 10 yrs or so leaves me disinterested. I have a tremendous respect for them though. Geddy is incredibly talented, indeed a worthy legend of the instrument...but the whole modern Fender/Sansamp/flamenco thing just doesn't work for me.
10.
Its arrived, its gorgeous, I now remember exactly why I loved my Warwick Streamer LX5 and was sad to see it go although I didn't get on with a low B string. In short, its a steal, and I feel a little bit guilty that I got it for the price that I did. But only a little bit.
....hate to say I told you so....but....
11. Yup....groundhog day. Same old same old......
12.
Well there's one scientific fact you've got wrong
...Not in my version of reality
13. Still no pics...bah! The OP is obviously a NBD tease.
14. C'est la vie Mon ami
15.
Well, if £400 is a good price, I think I might be quite happy then.
It is a good price as they retailed new for around the grand mark. These are serious professional quality instruments for sure.
16. I had an absolutely excellent transaction with Salotti for his Corvette. Excellent packaging, comms and super quick delivery from Italy to the UK. This seller is highly recommended, buy with utter confidence. Bump!
17. I would say that £400 is a good price for one in good condition. I own a 2010 Korean Pro series unlined fretless Corvette and the instrument is sheer class and easily on a par with any German Warwick. Earlier pro series were built in Germany. Modern Rockbasses are excellent instruments...but certainly not as good as the pro series in my experience. If you require any info on mine just drop me a pm
18. Oh dear, read this expecting to be giving advice on eye tests and spectacles....I jest not! ACG are stunning instruments. I recommend that you talk directly to Alan about the kind of bass that will tick your boxes.
19. Tough one this. I had a similar situation with a Lakland 5501 that arrived with several bashes via mail order. Because it was a relatively inexpensive I took it on the chin after the company agreed to give me a discount and send me a luxury gig bag and a couple of sets of strings. I could live with it under these circumstances. Your position is slightly different - the Gibby must have been expensive.
20. Super, super nice instruments.....as good as anything on the market.
21. The voice is the primary instrument.
22. Very cool. I owned one of these back in the day. Pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures pictures They tell more than a thousand words after all.
23. Congrats...stunning instrument indeed.
