1. Thanks guys.
2. I vaguely remember that somebody on here makes up good quality wiring looms for guitars. Can anybody tell me who it is please? Ta.
3. It was actually 3 minutes. That might even be a record around here. Anyhow, it's now definitely sold.
4. On hold.
5. For Sale: I'm selling my COG T-65 Octaver. This is a fabulous analogue octaver, I'm only selling as I've decided I need the T-47 twin channel octaver instead. I'm a big fan of these COG octavers. The controls are Clean, Octave Up, Octave Down, Filter (on the octave down) and Loop. This is a second generation T-65 as the parallel loop is not the old Y single cable connector, but standard send & return jacks which makes adding other pedals into the loop a lot easier. The loop runs in parallel to the octave which is great for running clean octave in parallel with, say, fuzz or filter. Or just don't use the loop and just have a fully featured octaver anyhow. Either way it's a killer pedal - rich & warm octave to buzzy synth sounds - this pedal does the lot and everything in between. This pedal is, as far as I'm aware, the same as the new version in every way except the new version has a different etch on the enclosure. More info on the COG site here: http://www.cogeffect...t-65-octave.php Mr Excane demo here: https: https://www.youtube....h?v=UEvfbd4c6ZM Bass-pedals.com demo here: https://www.youtube....h?v=EOTPY1Zs4mg It's only ever been on my big board, it's in immaculate condition and It has velcro on the base. These are £170 new and you'd have to wait for build and delivery. The price of £125 includes recorded & signed for delivery.
6. I give Music Guard another thumbs up. Very reasonable prices and helpful & friendly staff.
7. I sold Darren a pedal. Yet again, another easy BC transaction. Recommended. Thanks Darren.
8. I just did a pedal trade with Andy. A thouroughly nice chap, definitely recommended.
9. Now sold.
10. And it's now on hold
11. FOR SALE £145 Up for grabs is my lovely 3 Leaf Proton filter pedal. This one is the 2015, and latest, version. Classic envelope filter in the style of the Mutron III. This is one seriously funky pedal! It's only ever been on a pedal board, hence it's got velcro on the base. It's in A1 condition and comes with the original box. These are currently £200 new. Price includes UK recorded & signed for delivery. I'm not looking for any trades at this time. http://www.3leafaudio.com/#gizmos
12. I sold a Bergantino cab to Richard. He's easy do deal with and a thoroughly nice chap to boot. Thanks Richard.
13. I've just had a street party gig offered to my country/bluegrass trio. I'm going to have to pass on the Bash, sorry.
14. The Andy Summers pedals that made 'that sound' were the Echoplex and Electric Mistress.
15. If I remember correctly from one of the Thin Lizzy documentaries I watched, it was a flanger they used on the bass..
16. Why not just change the date then? And you can count me in too.
17. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on one of these. It started a few months ago when I bought a Harley Benton P shorty from Thomann just to try a short scale out. Best £68 I've spent in ages, that bass is so much fun to play. I've done some basic upgrading - I put a set of LaBella flats on, new wiring loom, a Quarter Pounder pick up and a bridge cover. (I bought the strings, the rest were spares I had lying around) It sounds killer and it's now my main bass in one of my bands, we play old soul & RnB. Then I stumble across the Fender site and the Mustang PJs. Uh oh. The olympic white is so nice. The OP's pics look lovely and my GAS is raging again.
18. From my experience of buying and selling online I'd advise you not to try to sell your gear as a job lot. I would suggest you list everything individually.
19. I just sold Paul a pedal. A very smooth transaction, another top BCer. Thanks Paul.
20. I changed my playing style a few years ago to a low action and light touch. I completely overhauled my playing style & technique. I also learned how to set up my basses properly and I ditched my compressor. It was a six month journey to get my playing feeling natural & normal again but I haven't looked back. Like you, gig and rehearsal fatigue just isn't an issue any more. You will get your dynamics working again, it may take a little time to find the subtle touches, but it's all there waiting for you. Be patient and keep at it.
21. The DHA is now sold. Only the London Bones & Bass Driver left now.
