  1. As far as I’m aware, the current crop of capturing pedals can only capture clean or driven sounds. They can’t capture reverbs, delays or modulation sounds. Reading your post it seems to me you think you can capture a phaser sound to save on the Tonex. I’m pretty sure you won’t be able to do that. Can anyone else confirm what I’m thinking to be true?
  2. I just sold a bass to @Schlippy. He was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Definitely recommended.
  3. I need this bass sold as I’m raising cash for something else, so I’m offering a massive discount on this bass for 48 hours exclusively here on BC. After that I’ll start advertising it elsewhere. So for the next couple of days the knock down price is £350.
  4. Nice one. I'm glad you got it sorted.
  5. I just bought some wireless kit from Chris. Everything went smoothly and he was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again Chris.
  6. A cracking mixer, I have one myself. The app is very intuitive too and not complicated. (you can download the app and have a look around it without having to connect to the mixer) Have a bump on me and good luck with the sale.
  7. I've been looking at Ebay where I got mine and that particular one isn't there any more. When I was trying to find mine I bought 3 before I got one that fitted perfectly. It's not like you can go to a shop and try a few out. But I have found you one that might do the job although the item ships from China. I measured my Kingman sound hole diameter at 97mm (please check yours to comfirm this) and this Ebay ad has some, one at 96mm and one at 98mm. I would say go for the 98mm for a tight fit. Just be aware that sometimes their stated mesurements aren't always that accurate, so you might end up trying a 100mm plug, it's a case of trial and error to see what fits the best. Feel free to search around for one that's in stock closer to home, this is just the first one I found that had them around the right size. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/146662999184?_skw=Silicone+Acoustic+Sound+Hole+Cover&itmmeta=01JZ5ADH4JEB47HJTJVX560JPY&hash=item2225cbc490%3Ag%3A3SIAAeSwp8JoVbV9&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAABAFkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1fC8enOVQK1nNa20HRGGuWXX%2FHGAmFz5cfu9c2okvYXWfzXHbHPWBbB2oK8ZMX6TxJLhHs9PjyWKD%2BBd9Y1v7Eno7SPHHQm5IYcmpqiRRADYiz9wTQyPVs4krx6qPhRppKP5Bb7kn7JGNmIXst76xvoe2AAZjNQXyJBCV6uMSE24HteWhSUyizSlGHmj1zuTd%2B9WFqmtwyBKGt9oxrT%2Fkz3P%2BqOXdHuAw0Tk16JPtXzrgDaITUp2Xahv1DvZXsIovWtpm5VMplSr%2B2ZsxYXJxK2M0Wkwa8icXuJZON0udAI3%2FPlhfI4Vti1G3osLy%2BLi7E%3D|tkp%3ABFBMtJK2qvll&var=445329099935
  8. I have a Kingman too and I always use a soundhole plug. I agree with what @JPJ said, get your HPF higher, I start mine at 50hz minimum and increase it if needed. I normally run my Kingman EQ flat and do a 400hz cut on my MS60B, HX Stomp or mixer to get those nasal sounds out of my bass tone. Does your Zoom pedal have a parametric EQ? If so, to tackle feedback, you can do an EQ cut and sweep the frequency control around to find where the feedback stops.
  9. I just added a photo with the white scratch plate in place. She's quite the looker!
  10. I'm selling my Sterling Stingray. I bought it here on BC three years ago and although I love it I'm just not playing it so it's time to find it's new owner. It's had mostly light home use since I've had it, I've only ever done 3 or 4 gigs on it. There are three tiny marks on the paint which are hard to see, aside from that it's in top condition. It's really light, the action is low and it plays like a dream. It's currently strung with D'Addario 35-95s. I also have a white 3ply scratchplate for it, I'll throw that in too. And it comes with a decent Ibanez gig bag as well. I'd rather not get into shipping so it's collection from London N4, or a meet up somewhere convenient. I do head up to Northamptonshire & to the Gatwick area regularly if that's any help. Any questions feel free to PM me. I'll consider £500 or something sensibly close to that. Make me an offer. Cheers.
  11. Here's a photo of my HX Stomp with the WIDI Jack (small blue thing, top L corner of the Stomp), a MIDI Baby 3 controller and a Pedalnetics Helauxy Duo. This is how it all works: The Helauxy Duo is connected to the EXP socket on the Stomp, and gives me Foot Switch 4 & 5 on the Stomp. I use FS5 as my 'scroll down' command (via the WIDI Jack) to OnSong on my iPad. This scrolls the page down, or if it cannot scroll further in that chart, it goes to the beginning of the next song in the OnSong set list. The WIDI Jack is connected to the Stomp's MIDI OUT. It recieves MIDI info from the Helauxy FS5 > Stomp, and sends via Bluetooth MIDI to OnSong on my iPad. The MIDI Baby 3 is connected tho the Stomp's MIDI IN. There are three functions - PRESS I use to alternate stompbox mode & snapshot mode, SHORT HOLD I use to alternate play view & scroll preset view, and LONG HOLD I use to go to tuner. I hope that explains how it all works clearly. OnSong has lots of MIDI functions to choose from (PC, CC etc) including 128 SONG SELECTs but I've never used that function myself. As I have over 1200 charts in OnSong, 128 isn't enough for me to use in that way. If you can manage with 128 songs or less, that might work for you @Cliff Edge
  12. I control an iPad from my HX Stomp via Bluetooth MIDI with a WIDI Jack. https://www.thomann.co.uk/cme_widi_jack_din_5_midi_bundle.htm?msclkid=4378f7436f9515e9fe9b90b76414017b

  14. I just sold a bass wireless set up to Tim. He was easy to deal with and I'd be more than happy to trade with him again. Definitely recommended. Thanks again Tim.
  15. I was recommended these last year. I have a bunch of them now an I use them all the time for my drum mics. I had issues with the common rubber drum clips that wouldn't fit on some rims. No such issues with these K&Ms. Good luck with the sale, have a bump from me.
  16. I bought Ian Allison's Vintage Synth Pack too. I think it's great. Now that I can see how he does things I have used elements of his presets in my own and I'm very happy with the results.
  17. Ah, my bad, I missed that crucial bit.
  18. I just bought a couple of these and I'm very happy with them. https://www.thomann.co.uk/thomann_rack_case_4u.htm
  19. I’ve been using a Baby Sumo for a few years now with my Berg HD112s. My board is built around an HX Stomp and I’ve not been wanting in volume. Tonally, it’s the best rig I’ve ever had.
