  1. No way. It's just too nice to sell. And it records so well. (I will probably get another one down the line as a spare) As much as I'm enjoying the digital gear, for recording I still prefer old school valves and transistors.
  2. Or the Markbass Nano Mark. 300W at around £300. And it has an FX loop so you can bypass the front end.
  3. Some guitar pedals for sale here. All prices include recorded UK (signed for) delivery. I'll knock a fiver off , and include a free cuppa, for collection in person. Everything is priced keenly to sell, but I will do discounts for multiple puchases. Most of the pedals have velcro or pedal board tape underneath. Wampler Black 65 £90 **** SOLD **** Digitech Trio Plus £120 **** SOLD **** Radial London Bones £25 **** SOLD **** Wampler Thirty Something £110 **** SOLD **** Boss BC2 Combo Drive £30 **** SOLD **** Zoom G3 £40 **** SOLD ****
  4. I'm clearing out a few pedal boards and accessories. I'd prefer the boards be collected, but I'm happy to talk about shipping. All the cables are in good condition and working. Diago Showman pedal board. £35. Internal size 750mm x 350mm. Used but still in good condition. Built like a tank. The original velcro inside has been replaced with pro quality velcro, and stuck down with contact adhesive. Unlike the poor standard Diago velcro, this stuff will never come loose. Some marks on the outside tolex but nothing bad. 8 x Diago Pedal Risers. £3 each. 1 inch high, boss pedal size, to raise up pedals at the back of your board for better access to switches. 4 x George Ls straight connectors. £2.50 each. 11 x 15cm Patch Cables. £1.50 each. Pancake (flat, right angled) connectors. 46 x George Ls right angle connectors. £2.50 each. **** SOLD **** Pedaltrain Novo 24 & tour case. £80. **** SOLD **** Pedaltrain Classic Junior & soft case. £50. **** SOLD **** 2 x Midi Hammer 50cm MIDI cables. £8 each. **** SOLD **** Diago Gigman pedal board. £20. **** SOLD ****
  5. Yes, I came across this the other day. At almost a foot long, it's a little larger than I was looking for. Ideally I want something light and a bit smaller that I can chuck in a backpack. Still, it looks to be a neat amp. They also do a 100W amp which would be the perfect size for me but not enough juice.
  6. I've had it for 4 months now. Initially I thought it was ok, but the more I tweak my patches, the better it gets. Now I wouldn't be without it. I say this for a few reasons. Firstly, the modelling. It's really good these days. Things have moved on a lot since the days of the hissy & metallic souding Zoom and Boss tone suckers. I haven't got the effects models to exactly replicate my pedals, some are very close and some are slightly different, but overall I do like what it does. Second, amp & cab modelling. I love this. I have a Streamliner 900, and I swore it would be the last amp I'd ever need. But, I'm having a blast just plugging into the FX Return on my amp and use it just as a power amp. I'm mainly using the Flip Top, SVT and Bassman models. There are some gigs when I want to hear my amp in all it's glory, but having some different flavours is fun. I may soon look for a dedicated (hopefully small) power amp, to use on gigs, and I can save my Genz Benz for special occasions. Thirdly, portability. My last big board was a Pedaltrain Classic Jr (Novo 24 before that!) with the ES-5, lots of MIDI, loaded up with all the big gun pedals, and for small gigs a Metro 20 still with 8 pedals on as a stripped down, simpler version which was more portable. Now I can take my full board, which fits on a Metro16, on my shoulder to every gig. No compromising on sounds, it's too easy. I play in some central London venues that have house amps, house cabs or just DI into the PA, and I get the tube there and back with my board in my hand. Again, it's too freaking easy. If I was just doing original music I'd probably stick with pedals, but most of my work are covers & functions and the Stomp does everything I need it to . I love the versatility of the Stomp and the ease of use. Also, I play short scale basses now, my full board weighs probably less that 2Kg, My amp is small, my 1x12 Berg cab weighs 23Kg. Humping my gear around now is a piece of p iss!
  7. I use the Simple Pitch.

  10. As @GisserD shows above, yes, that's easy by connecting the expression pedal directly to the FX pedal. It can also be done (I think via MIDI, although I never used it this way myself) by plugging the expresion pedal into the Exp Pedal input on the Neuro Hub. This would allow several SA pedals to benefit from using one expression pedal.
  11. Once you've unzipped the downloaded file, you can also drag & drop the IRs into slots in the Editor IR list.
  12. Only compliments so far, and I like what I hear too. I'm mainly using the Flip Top and Bassman models but I also like the AC30 and Plexi models on bass. When using amp sims I run straight into my head FX return so I bypass the preamp and just use the power stage into my speaker.
  13. You can get the 2.5mm to 2.1mm barrel adaptors here, 32.5p each. The power jack & adaptor will stick out a bit though, I've got my board patch box up against them so I don't knock them or snap them off. https://www.rapidonline.com/truconnect-cn-dca-002-2-1mm-to-2-5mm-dc-power-plug-adaptor-85-2916 I'm running my Stomp (and a handful of low current draw pedals) off a 1-Spot with no problems.
  14. I just bought and fitted a new loom for my Jaguar. I had already bought one for my Mustang recently so I know that John's work is top notch. Great service too. It's so good to know that the stuff hidden under the hood is quality and will last a lifetime, unlike the cheaply made stuff that comes as stock. His solderless connectors make changing pickups so easy. He includes an easy to understand wiring diagram, and even supplies the little screwdriver needed. Nice. Thanks John.
  15. A bit like the Aftershock, LA Lady and Kingmaker, the modulation pedals all have the same choice of effect types.
  16. I used to have SA Lunar Phaser. You can have a different effect on each preset.
  17. I just bought a pedal from Simon. A peasant and hassle free process. Definitely recommended. Thanks Simon.
  18. I love it. Now I can make better use of the MS60B in my effects set up.
  19. I ended up taking Dood’s Kenton MIDI/USB Host off his hands recently. It’s on my board receiving MIDI PC messages from my Boss ES5, and changing patches on my MS60B. It works a treat.
  20. For my van, yes.
  21. I am insured with Musicguard and I had to make a claim earlier this year. They were very helpful and paid out without any problems.
  22. Sid & I did a pedal trade. He was helpful and a pleasure to deal with all the way, even when Royal Mail took their time delivering him his half of the deal. Thanks Sid.
  23. I just sold Darren another pedal. As ever it was a smooth and hassle free BC deal. Thanks Darren.
  24. I’m not too far away from Ilford and happy to help.
  25. I'm keeping this a while longer.
