1. For Sale - my 3 Leaf GR2, COG Knightfall 66 mk2 and Source Audio Gemini. I'm selling these pedals as my boards are changing and I have other options and priorities right now. 3 Leaf Audio Groove Regulator 2 (GR2). £190.SOLD PEDNING PAYMENT A fabulous filter. Now discontinued, these don't come up for sale very often. It's been my go to filter for a while now and I will sorely miss it, but I'm going back to using my old Mini QTron for the forseeable future. It has internal controls for Resonance +/-, Band Pass/Low Pass & Gain +/-. I don't have the original box, and it has pedal board tape on the bottom. Price includes signed for recorded delivery. Or £5 off for collection from North London. COG Knightfall 66 mk2. £110. SOLD PENDING PAYMENT I have a mk1 as well which is one of my favourites. The mk2 has Clean Volume (as opposed to the mk1 Blend). I got this recently but I've decided to stick with my mk1. This one has a one-off custom Darth Vader graphic etched on it. A cracking twin channel OD/distortion, very versatile. I don't have the original box, but I'll ship it in another COG box, and it has velcro on the bottom. Price includes signed for recorded delivery. Or £5 off for collection from North London. Souce Audio Gemini Chorus. £80. A very tweakable chorus/flanger/phaser. Easy to use with the knobs on the front, but plug in an iPad or your computer and it's insanely & easily versatile. Lots of models to choose from ranging from old analogue to modern modulation. With 6 saveable presets it's easy to use live. I don't DO have the original box, and it has velcro on the bottom. Price includes signed for recorded delivery. Or £5 off for collection from North London.
2. This explains and demonstrates compression very well.
3. I just put the first ding on my Jap Mustang. I reversed my backside into it on a really cramped stage and it went over into the drums. Under gig lighting I now see a perfect extra dot between the 5th & 7th markers on the side of the neck. That isn't annoying at all, lol. At the end of the day it's just a guitar. These things happen.
4. If the M5 work with MIDI, another switcher to consider is the One Control Gecko.
5. I just bought some gear from Dood. Great comms and overall another easy transaction here on BC. Thanks Dan.
6. I vaguely remember that somebody on here makes up good quality wiring looms for guitars. Can anybody tell me who it is please? Ta.
7. It was actually 3 minutes. That might even be a record around here. Anyhow, it's now definitely sold.
8. For Sale: I'm selling my COG T-65 Octaver. This is a fabulous analogue octaver, I'm only selling as I've decided I need the T-47 twin channel octaver instead. I'm a big fan of these COG octavers. The controls are Clean, Octave Up, Octave Down, Filter (on the octave down) and Loop. This is a second generation T-65 as the parallel loop is not the old Y single cable connector, but standard send & return jacks which makes adding other pedals into the loop a lot easier. The loop runs in parallel to the octave which is great for running clean octave in parallel with, say, fuzz or filter. Or just don't use the loop and just have a fully featured octaver anyhow. Either way it's a killer pedal - rich & warm octave to buzzy synth sounds - this pedal does the lot and everything in between. This pedal is, as far as I'm aware, the same as the new version in every way except the new version has a different etch on the enclosure. More info on the COG site here: http://www.cogeffect...t-65-octave.php Mr Excane demo here: https: https://www.youtube....h?v=UEvfbd4c6ZM Bass-pedals.com demo here: https://www.youtube....h?v=EOTPY1Zs4mg It's only ever been on my big board, it's in immaculate condition and It has velcro on the base. These are £170 new and you'd have to wait for build and delivery. The price of £125 includes recorded & signed for delivery.
9. I give Music Guard another thumbs up. Very reasonable prices and helpful & friendly staff.
10. I sold Darren a pedal. Yet again, another easy BC transaction. Recommended. Thanks Darren.
11. I just did a pedal trade with Andy. A thouroughly nice chap, definitely recommended.
12. FOR SALE £145 Up for grabs is my lovely 3 Leaf Proton filter pedal. This one is the 2015, and latest, version. Classic envelope filter in the style of the Mutron III. This is one seriously funky pedal! It's only ever been on a pedal board, hence it's got velcro on the base. It's in A1 condition and comes with the original box. These are currently £200 new. Price includes UK recorded & signed for delivery. I'm not looking for any trades at this time. http://www.3leafaudio.com/#gizmos
13. I sold a Bergantino cab to Richard. He's easy do deal with and a thoroughly nice chap to boot. Thanks Richard.
14. I've just had a street party gig offered to my country/bluegrass trio. I'm going to have to pass on the Bash, sorry.
15. The Andy Summers pedals that made 'that sound' were the Echoplex and Electric Mistress.
16. If I remember correctly from one of the Thin Lizzy documentaries I watched, it was a flanger they used on the bass..
17. Why not just change the date then? And you can count me in too.
18. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on one of these. It started a few months ago when I bought a Harley Benton P shorty from Thomann just to try a short scale out. Best £68 I've spent in ages, that bass is so much fun to play. I've done some basic upgrading - I put a set of LaBella flats on, new wiring loom, a Quarter Pounder pick up and a bridge cover. (I bought the strings, the rest were spares I had lying around) It sounds killer and it's now my main bass in one of my bands, we play old soul & RnB. Then I stumble across the Fender site and the Mustang PJs. Uh oh. The olympic white is so nice. The OP's pics look lovely and my GAS is raging again.
