1. Yup, I went from a 4 to a 6 as well. It was great fun and wasn't that bad at all. Got lost a few times, but nothing too serious
2. See if DiMarzio will sell you one of the new blade pickups to put in your Attitude LTD II
3. The Sei (aka Jezebel) just has a custom wound Aaron Armstrong pickup and a tone control. The weight is pretty good, about 9 1/2 lbs if I remember rightly.
4. Cheers Merello. Already spent too long on there now
5. This is turning into a MM5 love-in See if you can try a 5 string out for a while and see how you get on. Don't worry too much about the extra string, just dive in!!
6. With the truss rod on the butt end of the neck you're going to have to be patient. It might takes a few goes to get it right. Make sure you use the right size screwdriver, slowly loosen the rod and take the nut out completely. Clean it (and the threads on the rod) and lube with some vaseline. This makes the rod adjust easier. Tighten the rod, not too much and assemble the bass again. If that doesn't work you'll need to disassemble the bass, take the neck off again, loosen the nut, clamp the neck into a backbow and then tighten the rod. If you're lucky this should putt too much rlief into the rod and you'll have to loosen it to get it right.
7. I received a PM this evening which has made me (expletive removed) angry. The player has problems with a bass. At the worst he'll need a new jack and a new switch fitted in addition to a setup. The price quoted by a shop in Glasgow is £200 For a setup, I always go by the price charged by The Bass Gallery in London. They build Sei Basses there, they're excellent at what they do and they charge £35. So out of the £200, there's £165 left for a switch and a jack socket. The retail cost of the parts is around £10-12. So there's £150-ish left. Be careful out there people.

The website says "complexly hand crafted" (yes complexly) and "Introducing our "Bolt-Thru Neck System". Do I detect s load of waffle.....
10.
It's on our future development list. I'd really like to do it in the original P style with the big black pickguard and sharper edges.
Ooooooooooooooooo!!! Lovely
11. Just to add an opinion that the Combustion isn't that bad I've had one for a few weeks now and it's an amazing piece of kit. The B is really even in feel and tone to the other strings and the fanned frets don't take long to get used to. I've played the ABZ and don't think that it's that much (if at all) better than the Combustion. All in all, Dingwall make superb basses and if you have a chance to play one, then play one!
12. I had an Urge I and it was an amazing bass. The Urge II is an excellent twist on the PJ theme. I heard about the Stu signature a couple of months back as it appeared on the Parker guitars factory video and I had really high hopes for it. However, this is boring and bland. Maybe he's been hanging around with Jeff Berlin too long as it looks like as uninspiring as the Dean thing he plays. Just feel deflated and disappointed that Washburn and Stu have come up with something so dull
13. I am hopeless at DIY, so am terrified of putting up hangers up only to see basses sliding down the walls
14. I don't agree with people getting a bargain here on BC and then putting it back on BC to make a profit. I wouldn't do it, but maybe I'm getting old-fashioned and nowadays it's a bit more every-man-for-himself....
15. That came out lovely didn't it Many congrats!!
16. That Washburn's a real catch Looks a bit like the Bantam model, which was designed by Grover Jackson and Kip Winger.
17. Do like those '51's. Congrats on the new addition
