I am looking for different tuners as these were only cheap to get me away, I`ve got loads of the smaller type but the holes in the headstock are too big for them, does anyone make an adapter sleeve to convert them?

Got the body and neck back this morning, quick mock up looks good to me, still waiting for copper shielding tape so can't finish it just yet.

Guess the paintwork is done, picking it up on Monday, couple of imperfections but hopefully they wont be noticeable built up.

It is yellow....very yellow! And I like it!

Nice, my first proper job in `86 was a cnc router prog operator, I made a flying v back then, I`m a cnc turner/machining centre bod now, are you using Fanuc?

My kit build neck will be getting oiled when it`s finished, I was going to have it painted but i`m not big on painted necks.

Been sent this today, an idea of how it will look with the black plate, obviously I need a different one due to the different pups but you get the general idea.

Bit of paint on it now, starting to take shape.

It is now in primer! Looks nice in white but will be awesome in yellow ( I hope!)

Couple of update pics, routes are done and bridge holes filled, painting this weekend in lemon yellow...its very yellow!!

Why not have 2 stacked vols (for each coil) and a master tone.

The kit is here! Cant start it till the body is routed, holes filled and painted but it seems quite good, neck joint is tight, neck isn`t a baseball bat which is a bonus. Turns out my pickups are Kent Armstrongs passive Alembic pup and theyv`e supplied me with a wiring diagram for coil tapping etc, may look into that but i`m definitely no electrical genius.
