      I like the TC electronic MojoMojo as a bass distortion, but I now use a boss bass driver as my board is all boss now.

      I only use flatwounds but always buy the lightest guage available of any set I use. I prefer the feel and the tone of lighter strings as you don't need to put in as much energy to get them moving.

      I don't think there's a frozen veggie bacon in the plant pioneers range - there's a chilled version but that has a weird taste. The frozen meatless meatballs are good though.

      Ernie Ball cobalt flats are nice & bright, and there is a range of sets. I really like the lightest set on my thunderbirds but so you can choose a heavier set for more tension.

    Popped a TC Spark Mini on my board so I can switch between a couple of basses with very different outputs without changing pedal settings. Perfect, super quiet, super transparent, sorted! :)
