2. I haven't gigged for 6-7 years now, since the band i was in then imploded. Just havnt really found another band since then. I've jammed with a few people but nothing's really kicked off, so i'm mostly a bedroom worrior now.
 3.
I mentioned what Jam Origin were up to on the last post about MIDIbass/synth bass. It was OK but did have minor latency issues down the lower registers, no worse than on my Graphtec/Axon AXON system. The only way to avoid latency issues in pitch to MIDI conversion is to avoid pitch to MIDI. The best solution out there is by Steve Chick, who designed an electronic resistance based system that was licensed to Valley Arts, Wal and then Peavey. He's since developed his own range of basses under the Industrial Radio brand but none of those systems were cheap or easy to fix if they went wrong. More over, you still had to play very cleanly and deliberately on those basses too if you wanted to avoid false triggers...just like you do on all the other systems including the Deep Impact and Future Impact. Just something a player's gotta learn if they want to use the system, but it's possible if the effort is put in. Playing quickly and percussively is still pretty tricky though. It's a shame no one makes push button fretboard, game controller type bits of kit in a 34" scale. It might be an ideal solution. 4.
Yes, Smartwater. http://www.smartwate...roperty-marking
That looks [s]smart[/s] interesting. Wondering about how it would affect resale value if each piece of gear is under the same unique identifier. Would be a lot more tempted if i could get a different bottle per item. Also, im wondering if the cost could be mitigated by savings on insurance?
 5. Interesting. Looks like it came out on monday? Im very tempted. Will have to see how the finances lay in the next month or so (just moved house so cant really buy toys at the moment…).
 6. You could go: Bass > meatbox (dry out)> looper ....meatbox (wet out) > ls2 return a Looper (output #) > synth> ls2 input Ls2 send a > looper return # Ls2 output > di. Then just put ls2 in a+b mode, a knob controls how much synth to di, b knob how much meatbox to di.
 7.
To be fair, it's enough....otherwise you'll be tweaking forever.
i have been known to put pedals in a feedback loop so make them self oscillate, and then use my tuner to tune the pedals tone knob to concert pitch…
 8.
Luckily you now get a mids knob on the new V2.
It has a mids knob, but only a switch for the mids frequency.
 9. Basically your looking for an overdrive or preamp. I use a zoom ms60b to simulate a sansamp bddi (but with a MIDs frequency knob)
 10.
What's that?
WMD protostar. Also has a CV out for envelope that I use to control my phaser (Chase Bliss Wombtone).
 11. I have an envelope filter with an LFO (for autowah) and an expression input. Best of all worlds.
 12. There are gigrig adapters that work with only one pedal, but they all change voltage or something as well as isolating the signal.
 13.
600ma is over the top for a tuner. Most digital pedals run at about 400ma? Could get a voodoo lab 4x4. Or maybe a CIOKS DC8?
Okay, i thought it was their multiFX, shows how much i know about korg gear… and my digital effects (other than bitcrushers, which are basically just ADDA converters) range from 450ma to 1200ma.
What's the point of the isolator there? Also, wouldn't you have a load of spare plugs on the daisy chain? I hate that and always have to tape them up out of the way
Its there to isolate the power to each pedal to reduce noise. Its not essential, but it can save you a lot of headaches down the line.
 14. 600ma isn't over the top for a digital pedal. I would suggest getting a 1spot, a gigrig isolator, and a daisy chain. Use the daisy chain to connect the isolator and the korg, then plug the rest into the isolator. That way you have alot of room for expansion.
 15.
Cheers! Cheque's in the post... And it's a 6 way tie!
Looking like it'll be that way.
 16. I use compression to give me more control over my dirt pedals and change my envelope going into my filter (which also has a compressor to tame some of the peaks when I up the resonance). You can also get more of an attack on your playing with a compressor if you set it to not set in for the right amount of time, which helps if you play without a pic.
 17. Now if i could buy one modded with a mids freq knob instead of a button i would stop having to emulate on with a multiFX.
 18. My votes this month are for MoonBassAlpha, FuNkShUi, and Twincam.
 19. heres my entry: https://soundcloud.com/end-offline/july-noodle Ive been busy this month, so have had to throw a cover together at the last second.
 20.
You must have some serious board if you're approaching the limit of a Generator! I didn't think that would be possible, it puts out 5 amps!
I use a lot of digital effects. I just did the maths and im at a little over 4amps if i had my fill board set up (im missing a few midi/patch leads).
 21.
Where do you put it in the signal chain?
*Ducks for cover*
 22. Well if you want the super simple solution, buy him a new lead, and solder a resistor into it.
