  1. Got a new P bass abd did the usual try a few and see what's best thing. This is the Red/Black from Guitars Electric, brand new and fitted for only a couple of days before I got a reliced burgundy one. Now I fitted this to an MIJ 83 SQ Squire P abd it was a perfect fit, however the website states its fir USA/MIM basses, but testimonials have stated these can fit Korean Squires with a bit of filing. This is the blurb PRECISION BASS Scratch Plates in 9 Colours – designed to fit Mexican & USA Precision Bass screw hole configuration. May also fit import P-Bass Style guitars, including Fender Squiers. Some drilling of one or two holes maybe required due to the many differences of hole spacing by worldwide guitar manufacturers. SOLD
  2. Always two there are! No more no less Rock covers band- Spector Euro 4 and 5 Funk/jazz fusion band - 80's Squire jazz and precision. Pit gigs, just 1 😁 whichever bass fits the show, but usually a 5 I use a different one for each set, through an EBS A/B/preamp.
  3. Lots of love, just no money or room fir such a glorious beast.

  7. Just bought a Squire SQ p bass from Alain. As usual he brought it to my door, and we gad a good natter. Fantastic fellow whom I've bought and sold to for years. I've a feeling this bass is a keeper. I also got to sign his Limelight Leyland Sklar P, which is very cool. Thanks Again for everything Alain.
  8. Just bought a Tortoise pickguard from Rob. I visited him recently and he's a lovely/knowledgeable chap with impeccable taste in basses. Deal with confidence. Thanks Rob, hope to see you soon.
  9. I was lucky enough to have a lovely chat with Ash at his home recently, as ive taken possession of one of his old basses. He was kind enough to gift me a lovely P bass pickguard which regrettably didn't fit. I've spoken to Ash on here many times, and he's a longstanding legend of basschat, and a great bloke and player to boot. We're fortunate to have him in our community! Thanks so much Ash 😁
  10. This is custom made by Earlpilanz pickguard for a Yamaha BB 4 string (414,614,424,1024,2024 also the X versions) in Vintage Dark Tortoise. I had to borrow an X plate to send to him, and I believe its catching on and he's made a few more, due to having the template. Not very old and in good condition, perfect for adding a vintage vibe to your BB. It would look particularly Piquant on a white one😊 This was originally glued, so has remnants of adhesive, however it has been scrubbed so no longer sticky. Sold!! 2nd pic to show what it looks like in a bass, I hope the basses new owner doesn't mind.
  11. "Weird looking bass" how rude. Lovely bass at a great price, wish I had the cash,I'd need to defret it though.

  15. Could do with a quick ish sale on this, so I'll do the whole thing for £550 collected. A Perfect stack for the cost conscious young Bass hero. Note I will not be including a Speakon cable,I'll need it.
