  1. A fantastic pedal, which is as new other than 2 things! 1. I can't remember where the box is and 2. I put a bit of Velcro on the bottom A fantastic looking pedal which is very musical and intuitive. It needs to go to a home where it will be used. Pictures to follow. In the mean time here's a video.

  3. Happy to post at cost. I have a decent box.
  4. Solid but not very heavy and it is very well balanced. I will try and get a figure for you in the next few days.
  5. I snapped this up as it is one of my favourite ever basses these and I used to use one of these as my main! An Ibanez Premium bass so top of their range at the time. This one it is "tatty" but it plays great and sounds incredibly good. Lots of mojo and lots of grunt. It is also very versatile, as being a great rock machine. It has a fitted functional case to keep it safe. Someone will love it and I'm passing it at the price originally advertised on here:
  6. Hi, I am looking to pass on this great bass. Condition is A1 and it comes with the soft case pictured. It has great upgrades and plays really well. I bought this from Rayman, and reckon it was a real bargain but will accept the same price. Reason for sale is that I want some money to put towards studio time. I never really had a use for it and was just curios 😎 Here is the original post.
  7. aah my weapon of choice. These are fantastic instruments and I much prefer the USA Fender or G&L's that I had previously. I have it's twin and a one with humbuckers. You can hear this one with minimal effects here. GLWTS. Glassy but powerful and handles effects pedals really well:
  8. Hi, cracking idea this. Can you add my stuff in please? Although my buddy Pete plays bass on some of my solo tracks he's also a Basschat member so it should still count. On Top of the World is one of my favourite bass lines. I like em all but am biased
  9. Love your playing and the bass looks and sounds great...
  10. I just bought a nice Epi Newport from Russ, very happy. Many thanks
  11. Looks like a great buy for a gigging musician.
  12. My favourite recording bass, I'm recording with it as I type. It always sounds great to my ear
  13. I love these. I have a black Peerless Cassidy (factory branded) with similar mods. I hated the original bridge and bought another bridge for it and removed the pickguard and it looks killer. It also sounds killer. Those humbuckers are amazingly versatile. I have used it detuned in rock band, where I normally play 5 strings and for soft and country rock and it just works!
  14. I think I had this briefly, or one very similar. I had flats on it and remember it sounding really good. Some medium scale basses just have a great sound in the mix (like a good P bass) and mine was one of them.
  15. I'm going to have a bash at downtuning a 4 I think
  16. Because I have no experience of them and I have had past experiences of guitars not cutting though in the past e.g. Sandberg and Fender Jazz's. I play in a loud and energetic 6 piece rock band. Precisions, Jack Cassidy and EMG powered basses seem to fair better. I used a Yamaha BX1 and that worked fine too.
  17. Thanks, I like headless basses. Good idea. Never had one before. I would worry that it may not have enough thump
  18. Thanks for sharing, for me it's interesting to hear how distinctive and good the Rick is, how consistently good the Precision and Musicman are and how the Thunderbird shines with a pick. We obviosly need them all
  19. I'm pretty sure that was the problem
  20. I did have a Epi Pro V? The active one whatever it was called, from Ebay. It seemed solid but had all the usual neck dive etc. but the killer was that the B string was much quieter than the rest. It meant that I couldn't really use it in the band. Inexcusable!
  21. Aha the non-reverse! It was playing one of those which made me think "must get a Thunderbird". I really liked the one that I played but the new prices were out of my budget.
