Great precision here, a real players bass, currently with flats. I had been searching for a nice precision for a while and when I got this one my search stopped! It also has some discoloration of the pole pieces Weight estimated at 4.3kg, around 9lb 8oz. I love the look and feel of this. Great color, classy pick guard and a bridge cover fitted...nice Note: I have since settled into playing short scale 4's and long scale 5's so this isn't being used. No case of strap included. Can post at cost.

Trades/offers? Maybe a headless passive 5 or a trade for an interesting 4 passive with money my way. This is a G&L custom MJ-5 lightweight, with painted headstock and "empress" wood body. It only weighs around 3.6kg, which is around 7lb 15oz. Superlight and well balanced for a 5. It has a great action and is a pleasure top play. Great colour that really looks great under lights. It's great sounding bass that suits any type of music and is much more user frindly than the L series. I have used it in a very loud heavy band and to record on an acoustic track. Note: The band is now gone and I'm playingh 4's, which is my reason for sale. It was pretty much as new when I got it and remains in similar condition. It comes with it's G&L cert. and case. That looks a killer and a great spec. I was about to pull the trigger but reckon the 35 inch scale would throw me as all of my other basses are 34". A very good price for a capable instrument. Good look with the sale!

Hi, not sure of the exact weight but it is somewhere in the middle? It isn't lightweight. I would guess at over 10lb but less than 10.5.

Trades? well I play 5's but would like a passive 4 to put flats on, a "string through" Fender Mustang or similar short scale or a 90's USA P bass with money either way. This is a Burns "limited edition" John Rostill Shadows Bass, 1964 reissue from the late 2000's. It has a white polyester finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Full 33.5 inch scale. It has been well gigged so read the condition report, but is still keenly priced. It plays well and sounds great and gets positive comments when used. A Fantastic instrument for a retro or modern band. It is currently strung with flats. It is a very usable instrument The Shadows bass (and Burns guitars) are collectable and are not currently being made so this is a rare chance to get one of these at this price. Condition report: This bass is well used and has numerous small marks from normal use and a lacquer crack near the neck joint (pictured). There is one tuner key missing. The mechanism can still be tuned by using one of the other "push on" tuning keys although I am sure that the new owner will want to replace it. Note: As Burns are not trading at the moment I have been unable to get a replacement key but I see that they plan to begin trading again soon.. It comes with original Burns imitation alligator/wooden construction hard shell case, which is tatty, well used but still in one piece.
