  2. Picture of it with guard removed as requested!
  3. As my Spector hasn't sold yet so I'm putting up my Anaconda, which I bought used for a project earlier this year, which is now complete. Trades? A quality semi hollow e.g Chowny, Gretsch, Peerless *not a Cassidy" as I have one. 5's with a narrower spacing than this, 16-18 string spacing and passive option A bass 6/Vi, *not squier It is a stunning bass in fine condition. Also one of the most diverse and best sounding electrical systems I've some across. It sounds amazing both active and passive. From the serial number it looks a 2021 instrument. There is some light scratching on the back and pickguard from normal use and a small ding on the back. Otherwise it's like new. The neck is fabulous with wide string spacing. I'll put a set of rounds on it for the lucky new owner! I can post at cost but collection and trial welcome! Ultra J Essence Bass is one of the most popular brands at the moment, having won an award from the prestigious Bass Media (Bass Guitar Magazine). General SPECS Body: Alder or Ash? Neck - Maple Bolt on, Fretboard: Rosewood Dual carbon fiber rods Frets: 4 & 5 string - 21 Frets, 6 String - 24 Frets. Scale length: 34.5 Controls: Stacked Vol/Passive tone, Blend, Mids, Stacked treble and bass and an Active passive switch (see video below) Tuners: Lightweight Hipshot String Tree: Hipshot Bridge: Sung Il BB009 Bridge (4 string), Sung Il Monorail Saddles (5 & 6 String). All 19mm Spacing String Spacing: 19mm spacing at bridge (4, 5 & 6 String) Tusq Nut: 40mm Nut width (4 String), 48mm (5 String), 52mm (6 String) Weight: 4.5kg/10lb, which is on the light side for such a machine
  4. I recommend the Tech 21, Dug Pinnock pedal. I great pedal and it has a a great rattly guitar amp sound, when you dial up the drive and "Chunk" dials! Strong bass is always present.
  5. Thanks, that's good to know. As my needs aren't complex I think I'll try a a Sonicake Levitate. There is a discount code on ebay, just £35 posted at the moment
  6. Hi, I'm looking for nice reverb. Wondered which of these would be the best? Any thoughts and reasons why?
  7. I've had a bunch of Ibanez's over the years. My favourites were an ATK805 and an SR3005. The 3005 was the 1st high quality bass I had owned and I picked up another on here in a trade recently. The stacking knobs have been replaced but it remains a killer instrument. so well made and sound amazing so sharing some pictures.
  8. I read about GAK but bax as well?
  9. I used both, assuming this is correct!
  10. A great sounding instrument in as new condition. I bought this and haven't used it other than an initial test so it needs to go! Beautiful looking guitar in my opinion. Some pictures are taken outdoors in bright sun others indoors. Alder body w/ Ash top Maple neck w/ Ebony fingerboard 28” scale length Both pickups are Chapman Sonorous Zero humbuckers Push-Pull pot Chapman Locking Tuners. Note: this does not come with a case
  11. Glad to see these are still going. I'm told I may be on tour in October but will come along if free. Got some interesting basses, happy to bring a few along if available
  12. Hmm sounds like an excuse to sell and look for a a lighter replacement. There are so many wonderful basses out there!
  13. Thanks, so it isn't just me. I just don't seem to see the stuff that interests me anymore and don't seem to be able to advertise releases or gigs without paying some sort of promotion. Note: I do pay for promotion for releases and radio play but prefer it to be more targeted. I think I'll maybe step back a bit and use it more like "a notice board" and not worry about it too much
  14. Hi, For years I have been using social media to find gigs and opportunities to play, as well as for solo and band promotion but am finding it too difficult to navigate. Thinking of just packing it in. Is it really getting more difficult or is it my perception? I have been active on Instagram, X and Facebook
  15. great pedals
  16. Well, I have been trying to work it out using the "standing on the scales with the bass and without method", but my scales aren't that good. it is somewhere around the 4.3-4.4kg mark. I thought it may be less as it is the lightest of my three 35" scale 5's. Best I can do I'm afraid.
  17. I just bought a pickguard. Recommended seller as an easy deal Ed
  18. Any estimated time of arrival or tracking details would be appreciated please
