Hi Eddie, it’s still for sale and 4kg

  2. Thanks, It's one of my cheerier tracks
  3. Loving the result in collaboration with 13 Sound Studios. Song is original and Bass gear is G&L LBl11, Tech 21 DP and a Laney The 85 Octave. All good fun! ▶︎ Voices | Eddie Mole (bandcamp.com) or https://eddiemole.hearnow.com/voices "Everyone has doubts and worries at some point as they travel though life. Sometimes its just in your own head or in the form of advice from others. Either way, you can hear the voices whispering away in this song." Enjoy
  4. Sounds great and if you play the 2 vids together it sounds even better. I don't need this, would love it though
  5. oops apologies, can an admin move this to the sharing music bit.
  6. I hope that you enjoy listening to this as I did making it. Feedback much appreciated.
  7. Here you go, something different from me. I welcome constructive criticism
  8. Very nice, I have the 5 string version. I think they only made these Legends with the 3 band EQ for 1 year. After that you had to buy a Custom or move up to the Rebop or Euro for that option. Once of the nicest sounding Legends.
  9. oof stop tempting me to buy a bass that I don't need with money that I can't spare 🤣
  10. Yes it is the first bass that I have had where I can flick though the 3 settings and get a great usable tone in each, without having to change the volume.
  11. Great instrument, their Telecasters are my 6 string of choice. Good choice!
  12. The green would have been my preference but I wasn't prepared to pay the extra or wait, as I liked the faded black too. I did my usual bit of research and only found two negatives, that didn't seem to be clear cut and both referred to the 5's. 1. A reported issue with a weak string with the first batches but read that it had been fixed 2. A bit of neck dive as they are lightweight. There were also plenty of people who said theirs were fine and well balanced. You are right to be cautious as I had a weak string an Epiphone Thunderbird Pro 5 that made the B string useless. Hopefully that is all sorted and neither Not a problem with the 4 obviously. I guess the secret is to try before you buy.
  13. I have an update in that I have tried the dirt pedals before the DP pedal but for recording am getting too much background noise, I'm much happier with going straight from the Grand Disrupter or Grizzly into my scarlet and then messing with the sound post recording. If I decide to use the combo live I think I may need to do some signal splitting as I don't want to be turning dials in a live performance.
  14. Hi, just thought I would share my thoughts on my latest purchase. I have been happy playing a Manton Titan 5 string live for some time and plan to continue doing so. I never use the B string as I use fat flats and "down tune". To maintain some string tension I tune G, C, G, C, F, which makes there music playable haha! so my requirements are unusual and very tailored to the band. My ideal bass would be Lightweight, Multiscale and longer than my current 35" scale on the E. It must also have a killer/"even" sounding pickup system, with a solid bottom end, that works well with pedals. In "dreamland" it would be headless too but getting something so niche is outside my budget. I looked around and amazingly have found that the current Spector Dimension 4 seemed close to my requirements so I headed off to Bass Direct with a handful of cash and some trades. It didn't disappoint. The strings have a nice tension, bass is nice and lightweight. The neck is thin and fast but what I really love is the control system. The Fishman Fluence pickups sound great as are very usable. By that I mean that they seem to sound great on all the settings and have plenty of low end on tap. I have been playing with it and recording at every opportunity. I'm inspired! Here is a review of the same bass: Spector NS Dimension 4SFB review | Guitar World
  15. Thx, I do want to have the same set up/sound live. I also have a loop in my current set up so will mess around with that approach when I get sorted.
  16. Thanks for the advice, trials will commence next weekend.👍
  17. Hi, I have a small pedal chain but am struggling to successfully introduce more drive. The chain that I have been using for some time is: Bass in > A loop pedal (containing a Boss Synth and Dirty Robot) > Boss Flanger > Teck 21 Dug Pinnock preamp, which is Di'd. I normally run no more that one pedal, along with the DP (which has compression/distortion and a tuner). The results are great and I have had loads of complements about the tone. I am now at the point of recording new tracks and want to introduce more distortion and finding that early in the chain isn't working and I don't want to stick it the dirt on the end as I will loose the XLR output at the end of the chain. What do I try next? Some pointers would be much appreciated as it will save me from experimenting at band rehearsals. Dirt will comer from either a Chief Disruptor and or Grizzly fuzz/distortion. Any help would be much appreciated. Ed

  20. Just a heads up that I'm part way though a UK tour with Hearts and Hand Grenades on their 1st UK Tour. In my humble opinion all 3 bands complement one another are now on fire If any basschatters come along it would be great to catch up. I'm bassist with the Hellcats but will miss the last 3 dates due to other work commitments.
