The above has helped me as I've been struggling getting my head around the EQ Controls. Few questions for you then please guys: Can you tell me what different types of settings you are using to dial in different sounds? - dare I say how to dial in a Flea sound or a Bernard Edwards sound What strings are you having most joy with? ( I restrung with new Roto's which were rubbish, put unidentified some old strings on and it's much better). Would my naked black SUB look better with a scrathplate - if so what colour??

[/quote] Yep, maybe worth asking the seller about that comment, as the comment suggests they have some knowledge of the bass, whereas a £60 start price doesn't. I've had a few SGC Nanyo's ranging from, off the top of my head, 1988 to 1994 and they were all MIJ. By the way, this is a straight relist, it was on in the last couple of weeks at start price £85 (I think) with no takers. Maybe the link through to the sale here on BC has helped this time around.

Yep - it's a Yamaha Billy Sheehan Attitude 3 Bass - nice, nice bass (like all Yammy gear really) I have a sad tale to tell about one of those basses, I may share it here on BC when I've recovered.......

I'm limited on the time (and currently money) to get my self in a position to be able to record. I must admit the time factor is my biggest concern. Let's say I had an hour to do something bass related - I would much rather be playing or practicing or learning. I am reluictant to open the door to, what I see as a slippery slope, of faffing with the computer and settings on this, that and t'other. A simple, user friendly guide and setup and colour me interested.
