  1. Excellent transaction. Really easy to deal with. Good communication and friendly. Recommended buyer. Enjoy the cab!
  2. You can also add a 'volume' block and boost after the amp, or eq block has level too.
  3. Are the job Willis settings loud enough? As the drive affects volume on a lot of these sims?
  4. Will take £195. Bargain for a top quality cab.
  5. You need the duffers to make the good ones sound good. If you give them all out quality from start to finish then it just becomes the norm. Rise and fall is where it's at for building a set list.
  6. Cab has feet on both the bottom and a side, so can be used as in the photos or stood up.
  7. As new. Only used twice in the house. I bought this to compliment my laney nexus n410 for the occasional big gigs, and the truth is I simply didn't need too. I did think of just keeping this for smaller gigs, but I might as well just take my 410. Fantastic cab. Comes in around 18kg. These are currently £465 at Dawsons. I'll accept £250 pick up from Leyland, Lancashire, or can post for around £25. Spec below: Rock solid cabinet design for incredible bass projection 400W RMS power handlingfor vast amounts of low end power 2 x 10-inch neodymium driver and a 1-inch exit compression driver with switching Huge 48 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response to obtain any kind of character you want Black tuffstuff cover to maximise lifespan of looks and tone Vintage grille cloth with cutouts for frontt firing reflexx ports Ideal with any bass amplifier head with a similar power rating
  8. NOTE: There is a lot of interest in this cab. But I simply can't post/courier it. I've been stung before and lost money due to bad couriers. As much as I appreciate the offers, and it's just as frustrating for me, this is collection only. Thanks. If you want it, it's worth the trip.
  9. Yes. The helix grows with you. So any new fx, upgrades, ideas, settings you get for free. It's an astounding piece of kit. It really is. The routing is superb. Having the ability to send an amp sim to your cab, but the same amp sim and a cab sim to the desk is magic. It allows you to get a proper sound to the desk, but full control over your stage sound without affecting the desk.
  10. The M I have has the following: 1. X1 master volume. 2. X1 pick up blend. 3. Eq - hi. 4. Eq - mid. 5. Eq - lo. It is permanently active.
  11. I've got rotosound 77 flats on my m2000. Lovely. Growly low end and smooth top end.
  12. I love the look of those l100s! What are the main differences between the l100 tribute and l100 USA?
  13. They are very rare, and will see you through any gig and save your back. Worth the trip. I could probably get to Lancaster (on the m6) if that helps. Might save you over an hour in travel.
  14. Ive never had a lesson in my life. Completely self tought. I used to learn songs using the "hit every note on every string until it sounds right, then remember it, and move on to the next note" method. I burned tapes out by continually rewinding and playing songs using the above method to learn them. If i wanted to learn the official tab to a song, a book from the local music shop would cost around £20. Which when i was younger that was a substantial outlay - i got around £5 a week spending money. The song i wanted was always in the same book as 10 i didnt want to! (remember that!). There was no internet to get sheet music from, or to source any tab, tutors where very expensive (and tought the same old same old rubbish), there was no method of getting hold of backing tracks without bass on to play along to - AND now i come to remember there was no way of getting a song to learn unless you bought it! So, all in all, ANY lessons online - given the millions out there - has to be good value in comparison!
  15. Decided to put these up as a job lot to get some space. Grab a bargain. Quite a bit of value here. 1. X4 10m xlr cables. 2. X2 speakons. Consists of x1 by obbm wired for bridged. x1 by sound lab using klotz cable and neutrik connectors. 3. X1 phono ground loop isolator. 4. X3 short xlr cables. 5. X5 phono cables. 6. X2 phono extension cables. 7. X2 phono to small Jack cables. 8. X1 small jack to xlr cable. 9. X1 small jack to x2 large jack cable. 10. X1 small jack to x2 xlrs (m). 11. X2 short Jack to Jack cables. 12. X1 Jack to Jack adaptor. Note: stagg 9v psu now not part of this lot. Pick up from Leyland, or can post for £10 extra.
  16. Itd certainly be loud enough. And the sealed cab would in my opinion work really well with the sound from an orange amp. Would make a lovely set up.
  17. Edit. I've sorted it. I used the 'simple pitch'. Simply whack 'mix's to 100% then each increment of the first dial is a fret up or down depending on what you want. Works amazingly well. Cheers.
  18. Will take £375 if it helps people with fuel etc. You simply won't get a louder, better built, lighter, easy to transport cab for the money.
  19. Does anyone still have a template for the tortoise shell one pictured above? It looks fantastic.
  20. I've also learned quickly to roll the bass back a tad to get the sound tight, then have the mids at the middle, then increase to cut through. What I really have appreciation for though is, you can play any note and it's super responsive. From staccato type runs to full on resonance, it does what you want. It's also the first bass ever that I can tickle the strings and still get a thick loud sound. All my previous basses I've had to dig in just to get a normal sound. I can now see how all these jazz funk players manage to hit so many notes and still sound great!
