    Tc electronic Bg250 15" bass amp combo. Great combo. Feature packed. 15" speaker. Features Inpit Gain Bass Middle Treble Tube drive Toneprint Master Pedal input Built in tuner USB connection Mute Aux in (for play along etc) Headphone jack Pre and post eq Di out Easy one hand lift. This was bought for a gig (I'm usually all in ears). Did a fantastic job, just no longer needed. It is tatty as per photos but works brilliantly. Absolute bargain. Pick up Leyland Lancashire

    This jazz bass is a bit of a mystery. The person I bought it off bought it like this so he knows nothing of it either. Its an exceptional jazz bass. Looks and sounds gorgeous. It has had the following mods by the looks of it: 1. Metal nut. 2. New machine heads / Tuners. 3. New pick ups. 4. New active preamp. 5. Fender high mass bridge. 6. "Leo" decal. It has a gorgeous wood and is beautifully finished. The neck is one of the best shapes I've played. It's quite flat feeling and very easy to play. The machine heads have been changed, I can tell as one is slightly proud, but doesn't affect anything. The pickups are just lovely. Mixed with the preamp this gives a ridiculous amount of tones available. The front does a decent p sound. The bridge gives that classic jazz sound. The high mass bridge by Fender improves stability and sustain. The jack isnt on the control plate, it's in the body position. Its on the heavier side, I would say over 4kg. As I say, I don't know what this started as, or what it is, I just know it's a beastly jazz. Plays and sounds lovely, is super versatile and looks beautiful. I'm guessing but the price for the upgrades would have been expensive. Pick up Leyland Lancashire.

    Yep I agree. I have uses us ones, mex, FSR, sire, roadworn, all range of other makes. This is as good as any.

    Gigged this at the weekend in our 80s band. Great tone, versitile, fitted in the mix lovely, punchy and absolutely no aching or back pain afterwards. Great basses.

    Does anyone use thing like Y splitters to separate the bands connections and the connections to front of house? Splitters seem sold out everywhere?

    Well, here's a weird one... Thisnis a jazz I bought a bit ago - never seen or heard of these, or even where you'd get the logo. Looks cool though. Mojo without imitation.

    I've regularly gigged Harley benton, squier, fenders, vintage.... anything. If it sounds good, then it's good enough. However... I do have to say for auditions for bands and jobs, I've always found turning up with that Fender logo really does help (although it shouldn't). To other people it's much more than just a logo. It boosts your chances before you've even played a note. Again, unfortunate, but just what I've found.

    Picked one of these up recently. Yep. Very nice. Lovely smooth neck, lovely dimensions to it. Pickups sound lovely. Tone pot has a lot of width in it, plenty of tones. Tuners work great. Its lightweight. Yep. Very nice indeed. Absolutely no need for any higher priced precision.

    Haha, yep, always happens. I've had load of synth pedals. All lasted about a month before being passed on again Still, I know I'll end up with one of these (however briefly)

    2 quick questions on this!? 1. Does it have a footswitch for one and off? Ie like a stomp box? 2. Can the presets be overwritten with your own creations/tweaks? Thanks.

    I much preferred guigsy on bass. More melodic and bass like. When Andy Bell took over (no disrespect to him) it just sounded like noel (as a guitarist) had written all the bass lines, but in a guitarist style. No contrast between guitars and bass. They didn't do anything for me after guigsy.

    He used to have a sunburst p years back. From memory the famous(ish) picture with the green and blue striped top he has one.... I only remember as I used to be in an oasis tribute and spent ages trying to find that top!

    The irony that they are inspiring youngsters to pick up guitars, basses and drums and play live...... Just as most of the physical shops selling them have shut down.

    Rod was OK to be fair. I thought he did well and he looked like he enjoyed it which rubbed off on the crowd. I can't understand with a catalogue as big as his why he started with 3 ones that nearly lost everyone?? Then kicked into gear... Also, the interludes were confusing to say the least. Songs written and performed by other people originally now being sung by female singers whilst he was off stage?? And to bring on help when he needed a rest - 65 year old mick hucknell and 70 odd year old lulu! I thought Ronnie did great and he looked like he was loving it!

    Yes we've done that at our previous gigs, but certain sound guys want full control on their own equipment etc

    Morning all. Our band is all iems. We go straight into our own mixer and do our own sound. However, we are now lining up a tour where we will be going through the venues sound guy and pa. Is there any way you all use where we can keep our iems and mixes etc but send a separate feed for each instrument to the sound guy/foh. Like an xlr splitter etc? Does anyone have any experience with these or similar?
