  1. For sale my Boss Sy300 synth pedal. I bought this a few months ago and use it in our INXS tribute. Its a superb pedal. I've never noticed any latency etc the response is immediate. And the sounds superb. Its also so much more than a synth pedal. It's a modeller, a tuner, has routing options, and clones of popular chorus, delay, distortion, drive, fuzz, modulation, tremelo, wah, compression, stereo - and much much more - as well as a fully packed synth and all it's parameters. It has lots of banks to store in as well. Its in good condition. Runs on a 9v adaptor. Collection Leyland Lancashire or can post for £10.
  2. Hi all, For sale my Vintage V4 precision bass in fiesta red. Lovely sounding with the Wilkinson pick ups and an excellent all round bass. As new, bought and only used to set up and put on new rotosound swing strings. Grab a Xmas bargain. Collection Leyland Lancashire
  3. I've a lightly used one of these if anyone who wanted one lost out and didn't get one? Just make me an offer. For info they are light years ahead of sy1 and other pedals I've used. They also have a tuner, and loads of modelling pedals for drive, distortion, chorus, delay, fuzz etc etc on top of the synth sounds.
  4. Ones I've played: My Girl - Otis/Temptations Heatwave - Martha and the Vandellas My Guy - Mary Wells
  5. No, it was at an outdoor festival. I've USA fenders, played through every head and cab going, I still maintain that sound beat a USA p and svt rig. Don't worry, I know that sounds crazy
  6. Just to clarify, the benton was the best live sound I've ever had. The best recorded sound (never used the Harley yet) was my Fender p bass straight into scarlet into desk.
  7. This was through a pa company's rig for an outdoor concert. Couldn't belive how good it sounded on stage (most of it was from the front of house sound). Its a 5 selector and 3 band active bass so I had plenty of flexibility if needed. But I didn't need it. Bit of mid boost, rear humbucker. Job done.
  8. ......... ........ A Harley benton mm84a direct into the PA! Can't believe it. Not even a Di pedal used. No amp, no Di pedal, no emulators. Just a second hand 70 Harley benton straight into the desk.....
  9. You'll all know what these are. Excellent condition. Looks good, feels good, sounds good. Cheap. What's not to like? Pick up Leyland Lancashire
  10. Fliippin eck! I paid 300 second hand just a few months ago. That's a cracking deal.
  11. No problem. Glad you're sorted. That headphone button has caught nearly everyone out who owns one at one time or another, me included
  12. It's not the old headphones switch/bufton on the back is it? Just check your headphone button isn't pressed in.
  13. Imo the p bass sound when people refer to it is a really really raw sound slightly rough and distorted too, but sits lovely and warm in the mix. It's not necessarily the standard sound you'd get just from plugging any p bass in.
  14. Hohner b2a or b2b. They look like a steinberger and have some licence part/design from them. I had one was surprised how good it was.
  15. These are fantastic!! I now use this as my main bass in the party band. They're SO good!
  16. Ah sorry, I was thinking of the amp head, not the pedal.
  17. My aux in is fine? There's a volume dial next to it from memory?
  18. Yes, I think too many people think these are magic cabs that are blisteringly loud and far better than anything else out there. I believed the hype. I know a lot of users love them but for me they were just a decent cab with decent volume. I really wasn't overly impressed. Like anything though, everyone's experience and needs are different.
  19. I played the hb mm84a at practice last night over 2 sets. It's very very good. Can't believe it to be honest. Def up there with anything I've had sound wise I'd say (which is crazy). Sits quite well round the neck and easy to reach the fretboard. All 5 positions worked well in a different way. The best for our band was bridge humbucker. Real nice, warm and defined. It is heavy though.
  20. The Harley benton I have does the same. All great sounds but 2 and 4 are noticeably a lot quieter.
  21. Its a fantastic bass. If you get sorted let me know. Thanks
  22. I do love the look of them bongos. They suffer from rickenbackeritis though, where they never come down in price!
