  1. It's the way they are doing it here. They were allegedly due today, but thomann in 3 weeks? Nah, I really can't see that. Then, crazily, they've pushed the date back to tomorrow? They did this a couple of years ago with a ninja amp I was after. Its a bit 'boy who cried wolf' to the point no one will believe them eventually.
  2. Call me synical but....... Advertise something you haven't got.... Take pre orders..... Take payment..... Send orders to manufacturer..... Manufacturer makes that order so as not to produce too many.... Then, and only then, deliver said order. Thus immediately selling out once received.
  3. At least 2-3 week wait at thomann. I'd be putting my money on that being more accurate. I'm sure the shipping container didn't just get delayed today en route to store. More likely from Indonesia to the warehouses.
  4. Yeh, not good practice at all by Andertons. If thomann haven't got them, there's no way they will. I'm sure thomann say a good few weeks yet too.
  5. Any news?

    Kemper

Boss katana 210. One box. Has everything in there. Including pedals and presets.
  7. Ticket face value - £150. In demand price - £500. Temporary drop - £300. People will snap up the £300 ones thinking they have a bargain.... erm no, you've paid twice the original price. Not a bargain at all.
  8. Thomann - much much bigger than Andertons and the original sire stockist still saying 2-3 weeks. I hope Andertons do get them tomorrow, but I'd be amazed if they get them weeks before thomann.
  9. It just gets more and more genius. All this hype and news over high ticket prices makes people want them more and creates even more demand. Its mental, and shouldn't work. But it does.....
  10. Is it just me, or just me as a bass player..... But a 'band' reforming should be the full band. Not just the singer and guitarist. The euphoria of just 2 of the members getting back together and it being called a band reunion is a bit off the mark for me. I'd be just as happy to see guigsy on bass as I would noel on guitar.
  11. Hi, someone is picking up today I'm afraid. If it falls through I'll let you know. Thanks.
  12. If they don't get them for the 3rd then they need to have a think about what they're doing.. . it's not really fair to take pre orders and keep rocking the date back. I hope they do get them though and everyone gets theirs.
  13. They're absolute masters at it.
  14. Great stuff. I didn't even know they did no phone gigs, but if they do - brilliant. I'd love to wind the clock back to no phone gigs. Just enjoying it!
  15. Thanks.
  16. A few headstock photos
  17. A well used but effective ibanez bass guitar case. Has been well used - scratches, tears, rips, but does a great job of protecting. Great compartment too for strings, spares etc. See photos for condition. Pick up Leyland Lancashire
  18. Cheers dude I'll put some together. Thanks.
  19. A set of slightly used Steve Harris rotosound custom flatwound strings. Fantastic strings. Real nice to play. Lightly used but as we know flats get better with age and use. These retail around £60 so £30 is more than fair. Pick up Leyland Lancashire or can post.
  20. Set of Steve Harris Seymour Duncan bass pickups. Pots and jack also included. These were removed from a bass so have been used. There's slight patina on the poles but nothing that affects anything or can't be removed. Fantastic sounding pick ups. A real genuine upgrade for any precision style bass. These retail around £120 new. Pick up Leyland Lancashire or can post.
  21. Hi all, Can anyone help with dating my tokai hardpuncher - precision copy? 16070089
  22. The greatest thing on the oasis documentary - and I'll never forget it - is where noel is commenting on the Knebworth gig. Classing it as the last big mass gathering where people really enjoyed the occasion and togetherness before mobile phones and the Internet came and destroyed all that. Unfortunately, people remember great great gigs and the dancing, cheering, singing in unison. Unfortunately these gigs will be full of wannabe liams and people just stood there filming on their phones. I really don't think the gigs will be as even oasis remember them. Times have changed for the worse for big band gigs. Ironically it's not even anything to do with the bands themselves. Unfortunately £150 to be stood behind a wannabe moron or a cameraman isn't appealing. A gig without any phones would be. Also, I always remember noel saying the kept their ticket prices at £20 so the kids like them when they were growing up could afford to come..... That didn't last then....
