  1. I'm selling this sansamp bddi v2 pedal. Very nice condition. Amazing sounds either direct di or straight into your amp or effects loop. Very flexible and just adds that extra warmth and magic everyone wants. In good condition - I never use my pedals as foot pedals, just as an always on, so it's just lived on top of my amp. For an unbelievable light powerful rig, mix this with my markbass ninja 210 combo for sale in the amp section. 15kg svt anyone?! The bottom has velcro on, which can be removed. Although there is no battery cover from memory, but it's never needed as I put on my board. Comes with tech 21 tin/case and paperwork as shown. Collection from Leyland Lancashire or could look at postage.
  2. It's that time of year again where the taxman wants my money so I'm selling a few things to keep him happy.... This combo will blow you away! And it's only 15kg!! 15kg!! It's very very loud - my previous mb rig was a 4x10 with a lm3 and this is go good I sold the 2x10 ext cab as this was more than enough. It has a great eq - very flexible - anything from really deep and scooped to bristling high end. It also has DI, speaker ext outputs, and much more. It also has a nifty flap that can be removed and refitted to allow easy access to the plug and di - or store cables and pedals. I used it with the sansamp I have for sale in the effects section and it covers any sound you'll ever need in a 15kg rig! I'll also include a cover for the 2x10 ext cab which fits, but is about a few inches short, but does a great job. In excellent condition. Sale only, no trades. Pick up Leyland Lancashire.
  3. All manufactures more vertical 4x10s. Especially the diagonal design ones. On wheels. With good handles. Nice and tall to, so we dont have to stoop to wheel it in.
  4. Yes, and watch them for giving you b stock without telling you its b stock as well - PMT especially.
  5. X2 equinox gigabar ii cob lighting. Really fantastic lighting system. X4 cob led pars on each bar all pre wired for connectivity, dmx and power. Simply plug one cable in and you're good to go. Comes with great cases, stands, foot pedals and everything you need.
  6. The wedding coordinator may well mean pli and has just heard indemnity said by someone and calls it that, meaning liability. Just ring them and double check. I'd be surprised if it's not pli she means.
  7. Yeh, the problem is though they dont do rack ears for half rack sizes per class d amp etc, otherwise thatd be great, and there doesnt seem to be a universal width for the current class d amps. A small half rack (ish) prewired case with x2 class d amps, a tuner, sansamp and rack plug sockets, all weighing around 10kg would be lovely...
  8. Jazz basses - do them like my flea jazz bass. 2 stacked pots both with volume and tone for each pickup. Such a simple idea, but magic to play.
  9. The heads in the combos look tiny though from what I've seen? Ie not so swappable with their normal sized heads. If markbass did a stu hamm amp combo (or a stu hamm amp size swappable combo) I'd be all over it.
  10. How about a newer universal rack size now theres so much class d amps out there? And yes, then follow it up with mandatory rack ears. Also then new rack tuners, sansamps, preamps and fx in the new rack standard size - instead of 19".
  11. Some great ideas, keep em coming. You never know someone might act on some of these.
  12. Ashdown - put a tuner in the space of an extra vu meter. Ampeg - release an updated Yamaha manufactured new class d or a/b Ampeg head and cab. Maybe with a graphic like a mini svt4. Or a new lighter and affordable a/b head. £1200 for a svt3 is a bit expensive to take a risk on. And lighter cabs. EBS - get into more shops so we can test them out in the flesh. Ernie Ball - sort the stingray ray34 quality control out. Laney - make that digbeth vertical 410 a lot lighter. Quilter - make a new bass amp with a bit of bass colour and drive. And sort the di into a true xlr di rather than the line out jack. Hartke - smaller a/b version of the classic amp with mixable valve and solid state and a graphic eq. And sort the distribution out so we can see them in the shops. Fender - high end amp. I like the rumble but how about something more full on? McGregor - the amp specs look great and feature packed. These need better promotion. They need a bit of a refreshed look if possible too. Trace elliot - lightweight cabs. The 30kg new cabs miss the mark for me. Barefaced - just toughpaint all the cabs, get rid of the tolex. Markbass - get some consistency instead of being inconsistency wacky! Their whole amp range has everything I'd ever want (DI, mute, eq, valve drive, compression, usb, fx, 2 channel) but its spread across about 7 amps! Just put the features into 1 amp ....and re release the stu amp (if possible with a comprehensive 10 band eq). Tech 21 - how about an amp version of a more detailed fly rig - x2 sansamp, chorus, tuner, octave, di etc. All manufactures who make these new style combos with the built in vertical heads - make them so you can attach a spare head quickly in an emergency. Most at the moment have the speaker lead hidden trapped behind the amp, so the whole thing is redundant if the heads break. Anyone else any ideas feel free to add....
  13. Pubs - 99.9% are an absolute waste of time when it comes to advertising. You're just wasting time, energy and hope. They dont even do simple, simple things - advertise in advance in visible places in the venue for one. I only ever came across one great pub that new what to do. He even did things like hanging mobiles of each of the next 3 months gigs from the top of the bar, so you could see whose on when getting a pint and make a note to come and see that band. Simple and probably cost £1 each to do. Tributes/own gigs etc - Now more than ever you need to really promote yourselves. Not easy at the moment. But pick the venues carefully. Agent gigs - let them do the promoting - and get paid upfront.
  14. I got out of the corporate/wedding band thing after covid, I really started to dislike it and had a hankering for going back playing pubs where you connect better with the people there. I still do the tribute scene, but weddings and corporates are not for me anymore.
  15. Prices definitely 'should' go up for 2023. I'm willing to bet they dont though, and that venues/agents/bookers will try and squeeze bands even further.
  16. Everytime I hear hartke in comparisons like this they always sou d great and up there with the best. Such a shame they just arent really competing over here anymore.
  17. Yes, theres nothing worse than just all the band continually changing red, green, blue all night in a never ending colour wash. For a simple set up, think of it as 2 sets of lighting. 1 to actually light the band (so people can see them) and 2 for the disco style party effect.
  18. That's nice and colourful, all you need to do on top of that is light the band in white from the front. It's the one thing nearly everyone forgets to do. Add some plain white light to light up the band members and the colours will still work great at the back.
  19. Just roll the vle and vpf to off, cut a bit off bass, add in some high mid and treble. That should give you a clearer more sterile rumble sound. Then gradually change each week to however you like it. It may well be the bass on the mb that's different to their ears. In fairness it is quite deep when at noon.
  20. No top of the tops to me means no representation of the countrys feeling through music. Without a mainstream national music program, it's harder to get music of the people / sign of the times into the national public eye. Hence without looking I guess the charts is still full of forgettable drivel rather than any meaningful lasting social representation of the times.
  21. Evening all, Jason anyone any experience of the fender super bassman 300? Any opinions on sound, weight, reliability etc
