1.
Harsh (but fair!!!)
...you also have to bear in mind that I'm as guilty of eccentric behaviour as anyone else on this forum, as during the recent snowfall, I found myself in the garden sanding down a Squier Jazz Bass neck. Even my seven year old was laughing at me....
2.
Last time I got flange it cost me a lot more than £20.
I have connections...
3. getting slightly confused about which pedal I've just sold, type bump...
4. ...please? I've had it for about 15 years and I bought it second hand, so it's been around the block. It's fretless now, but it wasn't originally, but it's quite a nice defretting job. I had an EMG put it when I first had it, to replace the (dud) one that was on the Bass already. It's a lovely sounding thing and (with the right eq) can sound very "upright-y". The only thing is, I have no idea who it's by! It looks vaguely Italian, but that's a pretty wild, non-expert guess. It's got a very distinctive headstock and a plastic ring around the soundhole. It has an unusual, shaped back, too. I did once see a six string version, but that too was devoid of information. If anyone can shed any light on this little mystery, I'd be really grateful. Cheers, Rushbo
5. ...slightly off topic, but when any of you were weighing those microphones, did you at any stage think 'My God, what am I doing with my life?'...
6. The MC5 were an incredibly important band and Davis was a huge part of that. A sad loss.
7. SOLD SOLD SOLD Up for grabs is a mint condition Joyo Flanger. I bought this from this very marketplace a few weeks ago, played with it at rehearsal and unfortunately the rootsy/bluesy outfit I play with has no need for spacey flangey noises at the moment. Bah humbug. Where's that Cocteau Twins tribute band when you need 'em....? It sounds lovely and the the metal case looks pretty resilient. And for some inexplicable reason, there are some nice silhouettes of martial artists doing their thing. That'll give you something to look at while you're trying to ignore that dreadful row your guitarist is trying to make.... Anyway, rather than stick it on the board, never to be used, it's back up here for a mere £20 posted to mainland UK. What are you waiting for....get flanging for less than the price of a round of drinks....ish. Rushbo

11. SOLD SOLD SOLD Up for grabs is my recently acquired (from this very forum) Danelectro Octave Pedal. I've since purchased the octave pedal of my dreams (we all dream about octave pedals, right?) so this one is surplus to requirements. That's how fickle I am. It's in decent nick, tracks well and will come packed in it's original box. It's pink too...very pink. It's also got it's own 'knob protector (!) so a stray DM will never inadvertantly 'rearrange' your settings. It can be yours for £20, posted to mainland UK. Go on, you know you want it. It's very cool and takes up no room on a board. It's pink too...did I mention that? Rushbo

15. It could be worse...up here in the Black Country, you can't move for upcock....
