you could take a pic of the neck pocket or under the scratchplate to show wiring pots etc, someone will put you straight. i had a 1998 precision which was through body stringing it had Fender corona on the neck plate.

they should offer a better discount because if you ever sell it you will have to take a hit!i think i would want a replacement

i also didnt need a new bass, but the all the good words about these made me decide i must have one and to be fair i dont regret it its a lovely bass.

i got my v7 last week had to tweak action as neck was a bit too straight now has a nice low action and it really feels like a quality bass and the sound is really smooth and effortless. i dont play slap but i think this bass is versatile enough to cover most styles im very impressed.

keep an eye out for mtd grendel or bass centre stadium basses,czech made with bartolini pickups and preamp and a wenge fret board i own a bass centre stadium bass and its brilliant really light weight and very punchy sounding, i love the neck on it so easy to play and it has a hipshot bridge and schaller tuners cant go wrong. plus they dont seem to cost a fortune when they come up for sale.

i ordered a sunburst alder 4 string last week which showed as in stock, but when i checked back on the thomann website a couple of days later it said it was out of stock and would'nt be in stock till july! i phoned them up and changed order to a black one instead as i did'nt want to wait till july.

ive had my 300smx head from new and i wont ever sell it, i used to have a very clean sound and never tweaked the graphic much,i dont think it ever needed to go above 3 on the volume when i used to gig it. it was paired with an ampeg 1510 cab and i really used to love the sounds i could coax from it.
