  6. Hi yes those wilkinson tuners are the ones i used, had to drill new screw holes but otherwise they fit straight on mine.
  7. I used some wilkinson copies of fender 70's style machineheads on my full scale jaguar vm kept the original bushes on,these slot straight in but have a bigger baseplate but this covers the previous screw holes and i think they look better and work better.
  8. Looks like a silver series, which looks similar to my one mines a O serial number and i think its a basswood body Value wise ive seen them go for around the £200 mark, there was one on ebay the other month which was in very good condition i messaged the seller and couldve got it for around £160 I paid £100 for mine about a year ago They are nice basses though
  9. brilliant blast from the past!
  10. Any pictures of the bass?i thought ibanez musicians where active? Also check completed sales on ebay for them to see what they have been going for lately
  11. i think 1200s normally have two strips of wood running through body and headstock
  12. i own a bb1000s and there's one for sale on here i think? There the only one to have that type jazz pickup and i think the bb1200s does'nt have a jazz pickup just the p type. so to cut to the chase this looks like a bb1000s with an active circuit fitted
  13. I had the same issue with mine and just cut some window strip foam from poundland,to sit on the existing four pieces of foam and the rattle was gone,I must say though it seems a bit of a bizarre way to seat a pickup but I love the playabilty of the sg.
  14. This does look very nice and i do like the bartolini pickups, thought it would have sold by now.
  15. Yeah sunn or encore they have that type of string tree, good for modding they are solid wood of some description,i used the neck off of one for a bitsa it is a big old neck though bit chunky.
  16. Yeah mine i think is a 1987 and has japan stamped on the neck plate.
  17. i've got one in red quite a chunky neck on it, set up really nicely & plays really well. i like mine nice solid bass with added 80s quirks.
  18. you could take a pic of the neck pocket or under the scratchplate to show wiring pots etc, someone will put you straight. i had a 1998 precision which was through body stringing it had Fender corona on the neck plate.
