Just sold my Micros Synth to Chris. Super easy transaction. Great comms and speedy payment.
2. Hi Cort Curbow 6 [s]for sale.[/s] SOLD Bought new 2007, set up and upgraded by Eugene Hechavarria here in Bristol, with EMG soap bar pickup and Aquilar OBP-3 preamp. Mid-hi boost switch. £400 Gigged a handful of times, but getting little use of late, and I am looking at another purchase. In very good condition, no dings, very minor wear rear of upper horn by neck. Ebanol fretboard, Luthite body, maple neck. 34 inch scale, 25 fret 45mm nut 16mm string spacing I find it a dream to play. Not too heavy at 9.2 pounds/4.2 Kg according to my scales. Happy to ship at cost, with gig bag to go with it. Thanks for looking.
3. Hi Electro Harmonix Micro Bass Synthesizer 24V model for sale. Bought from BC approximately 4 years ago and seldom used since, so decided to move on. Fully boxed, 24V power plug, 2 pin adaptor, the rubber feet still in box, manual. In good condition, all slider caps intact. Some minimal surface marks. There is a true bypass thread here on BC http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 £100 shipped in UK. No trades. Thanks for you attention.
4. A "I am definitely selling this, no second thoughts" bump :-)
5.
Beautiful! Don't be afraid of posting though. Plenty of guides on here to assist you.
Cheers Cosmo. Seeing it up here is giving me second thoughts. Must be strong.
6. Hello Reduced to £180 - NOW SOLD Squier Vintage Modified Jazz fretless bass for sale in excellent condition. No trades. Have had this from new, bought from Drum and Bass Bristol about 5 years ago. Never gigged, and only left the house once for a rehearsal when I realised I couldn't read the charts and look at the neck at the same time! Had very little use, mostly with TI flats, though now with original roundwounds back on it. Immaculate, no marks. Fretboard wear minimal. A lot of guitar for your money. I want to move it on as I've just bought another fretless from BC. In Bristol, local collection or meet-up preferred, gig bag included, though willing to ship at cost after reading some helpful postings and Cosmo's encouraging post.
7. Apogee Jam NOW SOLD - [s]£50[/s] £45 delivered in the UK. Selling this as I've only used it only once. Bought it about a year ago from the Apple shop in Bristol. For iPad, iPad2 and iPhone4, great little practise device. Like new, fully working, comes boxed with all original cables (USB and apple 30 pin cable) and leaflets as seen in the photo, including unused velcro mounting strips. Works with Garageband and other popular guitar/recording iOS apps.
8. Lovely bass. How does the B string sound with the 33 inch scale? Any sound samples?
9. Just been in touch with Jon Shucker and he confirmed they offer this service http://www.shukerguitars.co.uk/services.html
10. Wow. That's some girl on girl action there :-)
11.
I agree with the idea of booking a gig, I also like to record rehearsals (on a digital recorder) then email the resultant mp3's to the other members - I find it very helpful for sorting out what's not right about a song and quickly highlights any weaknesses (usually me!).
I started doing this and then after several months (of not inconsiderable effort) found the singer and guitarist were not listening to them ("I can't stand to listen to myself"). Well neither can we!
12.
Be prepared to test this theory to destruction, however. Quite often in these situations you find out that some people don't really want to gig, for whatever reason. Jennifer
+1 discovered after several rehearsals it was just the guitarists excuse to get away from the missus and make a loud noise.
13. This moved quickly. Is the UV70 particularly sought after? There are other metros on here which haven't shifted. Just got one from guitarguitar, should have waited. loving it.
14. Hi Just bought the Unichorus pedal off Mark, and it was a real pleasure doing business. Thanks again. Geoff
