Boss ODB-3

Morning. Does that included postage?
2. I think as original would be better. I also thought the price was fine Good luck matey
3. Keep an eye on ebay. I got a pair of unused dimarzio ultra jazz for 30 quid. Hopefully stick em in this week.
4. Have you managed to get a box sorted yet? Cheers
5. Bloody ell lozz, another guitar. Good job you dont have to decide on haircuts
6. Holy moley that is nice. And im coming to normandy on friday.
7. They are undoubtedly better than my 4x10 and 1x15 peavey gear but my cack still does a job. Could be just being greedy. Will have a think
8. Great stuff thanks for the info. Hummm new speakers or new guitar
9. and have you got any pics around the back re ports and the broken switch
10. Any idea ish how much each of these beast weigh? I currently lug around a 4x10 peavey which weighs 44kg so ideally these would be around 20kg each, one for each gun
11.
Walnut sandwich between the front and back woods... sorry if that is stating the obvious and you knew that.
yeah, it just looks like cool little piping, like the good old day Y fronts ))
12. Oh no, that is by far my dream warwick, colour, that cool little piping around the edge. That warwick = divorce
13. I found it easier to upload via a pc than my mobile. Just use the little paperclip ps - re devon, im in Bideford next weekend, is that near your SW location, spose that is more west? Cheers
14. He was last on yesturday. Surely you would check the thread, if you want to sell it that is.
15. Why would you advertise a bass and then disappear the same day.
16. Depending on price and location, i would be v interested in this bass. where are you LL?
17. Sent me some DR strings for free. What a legend. Cheers
18. They were quite popular in the day, back around 2000/2002. I tried one and it took me ages to decide between that and my USA sterling. Matey had that up as buy it now/best offer for £650 ish before this listing. I offered £400 but he wanted at least £550. Bit of a gamble not playing it. They look better in natural wood finish.
19. My fav colour for a warwick. Any idea how this beauty plays/sounds compared to the old german corvette FNA. that was the last warwick i played and loved it. Sadly im not local
20. Why dont these beauties hold their value. IMO mine plays better than a stingray with a uber fast neck and is far more comfy. These basses should be at least around the £800 + mark. Crime
21.
Another thing to try before replacing any parts is to lower the height of the neck pickup in relation to the strings. In other words tighten the 4 screws holding the pickup so it sits lower in the body. If that doesn't fix it I think it's most likely a duff pickup, I'd be surprised if a dodgy pot would cause the sounds you're describing. Might be worth taking it to a luthier or guitar tech to get it checked out if you don't like the idea of playing around with a soldering iron. EMG active pickups are pretty good, I think they can sound a bit sterile compared to original Fender items. To get the best out of EMGs I used to run them at 18v but finding space for two 9v batteries can be difficult in a Jazz bass.
Hi guys. Tried fat richs idea of pick up height at practice at the weekend and it worked at treat after some fiddling. Cheers rich. Will still keep an eye out for some newies but this has seriously helped. Thanks again
