It was screen printed onto a Gildan t-shirt. I've got one and it's washing really well.

If you want to use a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), you'll (generally) need an Audio Interface. An audio interface is a bit of hardware you plug into your computer, usually using a USB cable. It converts your analogue signal into a digital one, ready to be processed by the computer. These generally have an instrument level input on them, so you don't need a dedicated DI, especially if you want to keep it simple. Within the DAW, you can then add plugins (digital effects) to your signal and process it should you feel the need. You can get amp simulations, compressors and all sorts, like you'd find on a multi effects pedal. in the DAW, you can also have the song you want to play along to on a separate track, so you can play along to it within the same piece of software.

@hiram.k.hackenbacker - interesting you say the tone control is the secret. I've modded my combustion to have a master tone control. I rather like it!

I once played a supporting slot for St Vincent back in 2009 if that counts. I didn't get to speak to her or anything, but it was a fun first gig for the band!

Should be alright. My Dingwall is in drop C all of the time at the moment. I'm using the Payson set for it. Sounds great. I've even tuned up the A# string to a C as well.

My cousin's husband released an album yesterday of folk music. I've been listening this morning and it's really relaxing...

Solid "yes" to also recording a dry signal. If you have the switchblade pro, run a line out of that into the instrument input on your audio interface plus the XLR out the back of the amp as before. Mute it while recording too. You don't need to hear it, but it could save you later. My band did some recording in a studio a last year and the recorded bass and guitars both sounded great in the room, but terrible at home. We had to re-record EVERYTHING, which was made much less painful by having the dry signals to work with.

Love it! I've often wondered what those are like and I'd like to try it against my real Combustion. I spotted this a while ago and keep going back to look.

Gibson bought MB in 2021. What with COVID supply chains, Suez Canal blockage, etc. It has taken a while to get everything back on track. Plus they're all made in the US, not offshored and made in China. Gibson sacking all of the TE employees is indefensible! I don't think Peavey are using UK manufacture currently. From pictures on retailer's sites, it says on the back of the TE-1200 and Elf that it is designed in the UK & USA, made in China.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226021739346 Does seem odd that a 2 band Stingray has 4 knobs. But, 5 minutes of internet sleuthing shows that it has a 2 band active EQ and a passive tone control. I can understand the confusion, it isn't a common setup.

I'm still a bit sad that they discontinued the white version. That was the coolest (other opinions are available). I guess the Silver Mist is nice though.

First gig with the band this evening. Played the first heat of the Bristol Metal 2 the Masses competition, where we had a chance to play at Bloodstock. The last gig I played was probably 2019 and was with a function band, so a very different thing tonight. Didn't get through, which has bummed me out a bit. A thrash band and the first one with the bunch of early 20s went through. I think maybe doom is a bit of a harder sell. I also had a couple of clangers too, so that might have had something to do with it. I need to practice with my multi fx. I can play the songs, but I don't use it at home. It'd help iron out a few things. Good fun though being back on stage mind you. We decided that the singer shouldn't be in the middle, so we flanked me with the guitarists and I got to throw lots of shapes.

I had an Hohner Arbor series P bass, that I bought mainly because it looked cool in white/white/maple, and was sold to me as an '87, which makes it a birth year bass for me. The nut width was too much for a 4 string for my taste (44mm I reckon) and I don't think the pickup/wiring was great, plus it was weighty. AND the A string rattled, but due to the way the machine heads tapered, you couldn't get the windings lower without a lot of wraps. The Revelation PJ I have now sounds loads better and is more resonant. Held onto that Hohner for a lot longer than I should have, but at least I didn't lose money on it.
