2. I personally don't rate the Diago boards. They seem like such a huge amount of money for a bit of chip board and some carpet. My board started life as a mixer flight case but I just changed the hinges. It is huge, only £50 and would have cost £150 if it were simply labelled a 'pedal board'. I think it's crazy how much the manufacturers are charging for pedal boards which aren't any more expensive to build than cases that sell for half as much with a different suggested use. Sorry, rant over. Personally, I reckon it's worth holding out for a used mixer case or something from a flightcase builders' clearance section, which is what I did.
3.
SOOOOOO MANY! Cheers guys. Certainly not cheep things are they these pedals.... Sansamp VT seems pretty cool. Have listened to some samples. Electro Harmonix LPB 2ube looks nuts - but is flippin massive, probably nearly the size of my LMII!
Lots of suggestions, guess you need to try and find somewhere you can try a few out for yourself really as one persons warm is another's wooly.
4.
Oh, nice from my birthday year ...
I have an identical Jazz from my birth year, although it's 1986 and a Jap. Gorgeous bass, best of luck with the sale.

6. What a twonk. Don't think it could cause any problems that aren't obvious that might creep up later. So yea, if it's still going then you're fine.
7. I'm really getting on with my Blackstar HT Dual at the moment. It's a two channel version which I upgraded the valve in. It does lovely mild warm valvey crunch or light overdrive breakup on one channel and can do full on distortion with the other. Fantastic pedal and really warm sounding. You could even just set up one channel totally clean with just valve warmth and the second for mild overdrive or whatever.
8.
Anybody know what the difference is between the 84's and the Hammers ?
I'd be interested in anyones experiences in the Hammers too.
9. Thats a bargain! Great cheap big rig.
10. Oooh. If I was closer I'd be really really into this. Almost like the tracks on the myspace enough to commute.

12.
Ok , well I tried the repair , only thing is it seems ive done something wrong as the bridge pickup now sounds bassier and louder than the neck pickup , I think I may take it to a tech and have some new pickups fitted at the same time
If you end up going for Wizard Hammers then let me know. Really interested to hear how they sound, thinking of going for some myself.
13. Cool, was wondering if anyone on here had bagged that. Was watching it on Ebay, tempted to bid but don't really need two of the same bass despite how much I love it. I've got mine strung as a four at the moment. Bit of a shame but because I have to play on top of the fret board (wonky arms) the pairs were the wrong way round to me so near impossible to fret. Need to get a new nut cut at some point with the pairs the other way around. Fantastic sounding and playing bass.
14.
Please tell me that's your rig.
Thats my rig. Although, as mentioned we are sharing the 8x10 and Traynor as we also share a flat, a rehearsal room and a drummer. It's nice but clearly totally unnecessary. Get a better sound with just my two Aguilars really. Just not quite as impressive to look at.
15. Yea, I sent one earlier on too.
16. What's with all this 'you lot'? ONE OF US ONE OF US ONE OF US.
17. Beautiful Jazz. Bet it plays beautifully. Wish I could afford or justify it.
18. Ah cool no worries. Googled but couldn't find the exact spec. The only ones that seemed to come up were flats. That's my gauge but I'm after steels I'm afraid.
19. Just looked again and for a second I thought it had a huge puddle of blood on it. But it's just a throw. Yes, curse our small doors, corridors and stair cases.
20. Are they flats or rounds, nickel or steel? What gauge?
21. Did the sound the other week for a band who had one of the new 200w bass heads and one of their 4x10's. He had a Rick going through it and it sounded glorious. The support used it with a Jazz too and that was gorgeous too. I'd dearly love one, or two. The guitarist had one of their new amps as well and that sounded fantastic too.
22. PM'd about the general purpose flightcase.

24.
Hi Just got back from germany, so back on with this I have had one person say they want it, but haven't got back to me since I went away? Tony
That'd be me I guess, sorry. PM'd.
25. Has anyone seen that film with Bill Murray, Groundhog Day?
