1.
well they're £27.25 + £4.99 delivery from GAK who price match all their stuff very carefully, so I'm a bit suspicious about that ebay seller to be honest but nevertheless mine are now £19 posted
I!ve bought loads of times from them. No issues whatsoever so far.
2. Hi Steven If youre happy to arrange a courier and accept responsibility from when its collected that's fine. Think I have some bubbles and boxes kicking about. BTW where are you? Cheers

GK MB Series

I have a GK MBFusion 500 and it sounds perfect with everything flat, contour at about 9pm and a smidge of low mid boost. Channel 2 has a slightly thicker valvey sound and Channel 1 is a bit more traditional GK sounding. Highly recommended.
5. Mamas Gun are pretty good - check out the song Big Betty
6.
Does it have a microphone input option like the micro cube? Doesn't appear so but thought I would ask anyway....
Nope sorry
7. 4 piece modern rock covers band gigging weekly around M25 - mainly west side - urgently need guitarist to cover sick leave! Songs from Jovi, Metallica, Leon, bit of old punk/ new wave, U2, Stereophonics, Adams, Lizzy and loads of others. Nothing too complicated. Paid gigs. Could be for 6 weeks or more. BVs very useful but not essential. Great guys - no egos in sight and some really fun gigs coming up. Please drop me a pm if you know anyone Thanks v much
8. Recently went thru the headphone auditioning thing as my Sennheiser 201 cheapys were failing to cope with the bass levels thru my Zoom B9. Tried loads in the local Currys superstore and these Sony MDR V55 sounded best to me. Couldnt believe how much better they were than my old ones. Really deep, punchy and defined bass and a bit of a bargain - they used to be about 90 quid. Good for general music listening too. Only downsides are they feel a bit heavy and the lead is a bit short (easily sorted for a couple of quid with an extension from Amazon) - i actually prefer full over ear types to these on ears but they are fine for a couple of hours blasting. Having a single cable is a good thing too, less to get tangly. 9. Really annoying when you get hacked
10.
Still waiting for the Mothers Day Chocs posted the week before Mothers Day....!
Probably round your mums house!
11. First laugh of the week and off to a flyer ;-) That could be it then - its a 4 way cable with the metal slider. Thats the theory sorted, just need to get the danged thing out without destroying the power amp socket now Cheers guys
12. Nothings turning at all Its a Livewire lead so i assume its a decent one Thx for the advice guys
13. Feels like something is not disconnecting in the socket
14. 2 types??? Never knew that. Works fine between my amp and cab. How do you tell the difference? Cheers Jon
15. Used one of my speakon connectors last week for our PA power amp as we thought we had a problem with the hardwired connection. Never had an issue with it before but can we bloody get it out? The metal tab retracts as normal but it wont turn at all to pop it out. Any bright ideas? Dont mind wrecking the cable but trying to keep the socket intact to avoid repair costs.

18. cheeky offers maybe? P M U B
19. I had the combo version of this amp back in the 80's. Think it had a 15" speaker in it. I remember i really liked the sound. Punchy, defined and clear and i sold it to finance a Trace Elliot. In hindsight, i preferred the sound of the Ohm weirdly. I gigged it in pubs loads of times so you should be fine running a 410 cab as long as it maximises the output - make sure its the right impedance. I'm guessing you'll need a 4 ohm cab but check to be sure.
20. Yup, it can be atrudge across the sand if you forget summat. Not happened yet though. Usually get the van towed in and out by the friendly staff so we can easy load thru the back door.
21. Played The Watering Hole in Perranporth last night - its always a fantastic gig. Took our big PA (6k HK, Mackie, Peavey etc) and shook the walls. Couple of hundred people in there going berserk by the second set. They nearly managed to topple a PA stack over with a bit of exuberant moshing to RATM Killing in the name of....! My 3rd time there and it just gets better every time. Bob the owner really looks after us with a food/drink tab for the couple of days we are there as its a 300 mile trip down from London and we stay for a couple of days usually. Cant wait for the next one on Aug Bank Holiday.
