1. Clear winner in the pounds per note competition!
2. Is it me, or does that jazz look like a big black square?
3. Maybe its just the same couple of basses being relisted too
4.
So you think it might just be iffy?
Nope, i never said that. Just noticed a pattern with them over the last few months.

7. Winger - Karma Blinding bass sound! And some of the songs are pretty good - not what Winger used to trot out really. First 6 tracks are the standouts.
8. Wunjos Bass Centre in Denmark St And then back to Victorias Secret
9.
Its quite bizarre actually, beacuse I'm finding it really easy to make adjustments on the fly. Any effect can be altered and saved within 3-4 button presses/knob turn. Saying that I dont really use it for any mental effects, and any changes i make at gigs are generally just mix balance changes or a slight change in EQ. You can probably tell, I'm still loving mine!
Ditto here Finding it really easy to use once you've spent some time with it. I set up 2 banks of amp models without any compression, speakers or effects to use as a reference and then tweak them from there.

14. Thats "completely original state"? Hope you got it cheap - i would have insisted on one with some paint on it Or do you use belt sanders and chainsaws in your stage act? Only kidding!!!! Proper mojo machine you have there.
15.
It's a lovely looking bass... but I just can't get used to those pickups! Does it sound more like a J or a P? Does it combine the best of both or the worst of both? The bridge pickup in particular seems to be oddly positioned - it's very close to the bridge. How does that sound compared to a J in that position?
I know what you mean about the looks but as soon as i fired it up it was job done! It sounds like a very resonant growly jazz with both pups on but if you back off the bridge it turns into a pbass and the bridge pickup on its own sounds like a thicker hotter jazz. I tried it out right next to a few other jazzes, precisions and a Lakland including actives and it was much stronger sounding. Its pretty in your face but has a lovely depth to it and seems incredibly versatile. You can make tiny changes to blend and tone and it really changes the character. Its a floorshaker with real definition and cut. Bloody love it!
16. Usually do about 60 mins first set and second is 1 hr 15 scheduled (but usually an extra 15 mins if people are rocking). Using a couple of 2x12 cabs and 500 watt heads playing everything from little pubs stuffed in a corner to big social clubs. I find the adrenaline overcomes the weight of the bass on most nights!
17.
I've not been to Denmark St for a few weeks, but last time the Bass Cellar had moved to the basement of Rockers, over the road - apparently there were fears at the time that the construction of the new Crossrail station at Tottenham Court Road would affect the north side of Denmark St, so there was a panic move.
See, i didnt need to name anyone after all
18. I would recommend this........... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/195643-roland-bass-cube-20xl-combo-for-sale/page__fromsearch__1
19. Sorry to thread hijack but i have a Roland Bass Cube 20XL that i just put up for sale yesterday. Much more powerful than the one with the drum machine and sounds great with all the modelling and fx options on it. Might be an option for you. About 1 year old and immaculate. Heres the link http://basschat.co.uk/topic/195643-roland-bass-cube-20xl-combo-for-sale/page__fromsearch__1 Cheers
20. I tried it out next to a Geddy Lee and an active Mex Jazz and it was way hotter, a bit thicker sounding and much more growly. It has a more piano'ey character too imho.
