1.
Would love to try this cab out to compare it with my Ampeg 8x10...........the dimensions are very similar but the weight diffence would help my poor old back! If only you lived closer!!!!!!!!!
I've used both, although not side by side to be fair, but the Ampeg is a different beast. Sound-wise, I personally prefer the MB, as it's brighter and smoother, but inevitably there's a trade-off with the huge weight difference (the 8x10 weights half as much again!) and it doesn't move as much air. Both great cabinets though.
 2.
If I had my cab sold I would be jumping in! Shame you're not after any trades, otherwise I'd be offering up my Orange SP210
Nice idea, but substitution, even for something much smaller, is not deemed acceptable in the eyes of She Who Must Be Obeyed. And it's orange. She'd spot it a mile off!
 3. Very early Monday morning bump... please come and take this fab cab off my hands... the missus is complaining!
 4.
For sale is my Markbass 610, acquired a few months back from a fellow basschatter, but not really getting the use it deserves, and the missus is complaining it's taking up valuable shoe space, hence up for grabs. Really moves air, sweet top end (adjustable horn) and weighs in at a sylph-like 46kg on my bathroom scales - genuinely very light and portable, much more so than many 4x10 cabs! Dimensions 1170mm high x 490mm deep x 580mm wide approx. Good condition - one caster has been replaced with one of a slightly different width, but is perfectly serviceable. Was £500, now reduced to £450, no trades please. Collection only from between Woking and Guildford, just off the A3 less than 10 minutes from Jcn 10 of the M25.
...still for sale... everyone on basschat must have good backs... :-)

 8.
Bump
I used to have a BB1100S years ago, good bass, but this thing is in another league - a great instrument. Now, if it had been a 5.... Best of luck with the sale!

 11.
Just watched the John East product demo. Really, really not helping with the GAS! That bass must be a complete monster. Can't afford it but have a bump for a delectable instrument.
The bass sounds great passive, but the East pre puts it into another class. The only reason I'm even considering selling this is I have another one! I know, jammy b*st*rd...
 12.
Lust
Personally, I think you should give into your urges, it's good for the soul! :-)
 13. For sale is a great little (but quite substantial) TE SMX pedal, excellent compressor, or for a boost under your foot for those solos/stand-out licks! Very good condition, save a couple of small chips in the finish, in original box with instructions. Uses 2 x 9V batteries, or external power supply (not included). Was £95 posted within UK, now reduced to £80. NOW SOLD...
 14.
Insanely good cabs, and i've seen the 4x10 versions more expensive than this!
Thanks for the recommendation - you're quite right! :-)

Fair warning to any interested parties - due to plenty of interest, but an apparent general lack of cash, the featherweight monster will be heading for eBay tomorrow (Monday 19th September). Grab it now if you want it!! NOW SOLD PENDING THE USUAL...
 16. A lovely thing, "Designed and completed in Chicago USA, crafted in Indonesia" in 2008, great condition, but I have another black DJ5, and I must 'rationalise' my little collection... Fender gigbag shown included. £950, no trades please, except if you happen to be the basschatter who was looking to trade a cherryburst 55-02 for one of these a little while back and hasn't replied to my PM... you'd better be quick! :-) NOW SOLD.
 17.
After a period of let downs and depping, would love to put my mediocre talents back into a productive rock/pop covers band to get me out of the doldrums. Own transport plus more gear than sense so come on guys don't let me turn into a bedroom bassist...
Don't do yourself down, Mart. In my experience, the only people who sometimes view the mature musician with a slightly jaundiced eye are the young, gobby oiks who think they know it all and like to see themselves as god's gift to music. I know, I was one. Occasionally, despite having now moved into my second half-century, I still can be. Your continuing status as a productive musician is a badge of honour, which should be worn proudly. Potential employers will know you have experience and substance by the spadeful, and will be reliable, knowledgeable, and grateful! Some of the biggest and best gigs I have been privileged to do came along well after my 40th birthday... stick with it.
 18.
bump for something beautiful ...
What a cracker! Have a bump...
 19. YouTube clip passed 350 views now... plenty of interest, just not much spare cash around I fear...
 20. Thank you for your kind words, gents...
