  1. i cant seem to find a price for the bag anywhere
  2. 76 full size keys, full working order with just a small cosmetic mark on one of the speaker grills (see pic) Collection from Darwen Lancashire. Great sounding keyboard with loads of sounds grab a bargain. Will also consider trades.
  3. just get some van damme cable and some decent neutrik jacks, i have some i made nearly 20 years ago and have never had a failure.
  4. tc and markbass amps are very different beasts but both good, i personally dont get on with markbass stuff but ran a tc rh750 for a couple of years with a barefaced cab (which i cant recommend enough) and it is a great piece of kit, super versatile, built to to a high quality and loads of headroom. i would advise try before you buy if possible.
  5. it would be interesting to see how this compares to a Darkglass m900 what with it having a drive section and all.
  6. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  7. i have one, the unpowered version, it sounds great but i wouldnt use it live unless i was playing a big tour and could rely on the pa and monitoring to be top notch.(and even then i might probably just take my darkglass m900) if i played guitar live it would be my go to amp as its more versatile and you get the tonal benefits more in a live situation. you just dont need all the features for live bass.
  8. ive spent some time with mine now playing in 2 bands although just rehearsals, i havent gigged it yet setup 1 - melodic metal band with barefaced super 12t (2nd gen i think) xylem yggdrasil bass, standard tuning (twin reversed seymour duncan p pickups and ghost piezo bridge) setup 2 - thrash band with marshall dbs 7410, ibanez sr300eb tuned down 3 steps to c# (standard powerspan pickups) first things this is a LOUD amp with more heft than any other class d amp i have tried, with the barefaced the sound is super tight and balanced, with the marshall its a lot warmer in the bottom with a great tight mids but not with quite the definition of the barefaced both sound great. i barely have the volume turned up at all and the bass cuts through like a knife, even against 2 100w engl full stacks easily. effects wise im using just a touch of compression from a zoom ms60b the eq is versaitile and easy to use and its great that you can drive the clean channel hard if you want to for a little bite before you switch in the microtubes channels, perfect for beefing up the sound under dual guitar harmonies when the rhythm drops out. overall i can adjust my sound on the fly very easily, the mid frequency switches are great for this making problem sounding rooms easy to deal with. the microtubes channel is amazing you can go from just a hot signal type sound to full on insanity without compromising the definition of the bottom end, ive only scratched the surface with this little gem so far but it ticks all the boxes for me. i should add that this is just as good for other styles, tapping, slap and i can get the best primus style tones with my xylem, rehearsing has become more fun again i cant wait to gig it.
  9. If you like the sound maybe a tc head paired up with a lightweight cab might be the way to go.
  10. I love a Seymour Duncan quater pounder with an aguilar preamp. It's a classic combo in my opinion.
  11. Reversed please pickups are the way forward in my opinion. I love em so much I have 2 on my xylem and it's so well balanced across the strings.
  12. i have owned both and personally preferred it over the sm500, i had the 700 first but when i got the 500 i didnt think it added anything so i moved it on.
  13. This is the manufacturers page I picked one up from a shop about 100 yards from my house because it was handy but you might find one cheaper online http://skeletoncase.com/product/ps37-30-pickfoam-case/
  14. Found a cracking little case (by skeleton case) for those on the lookout for something suitable. It has pick foam innards and seems fairly heavy duty. Not bad for £45. [attachment=231384:20161103_164734.jpg] [attachment=231385:20161103_171248.jpg]
  15. 4 of our band have them. No issues. They do reduce the sound levels a lot.
  16. 6/8 with the odd bar of 13/8 thrown in for giggles.
  17. Mine arrived yesterday, opening the box im impressed, it oozes quality, all the switched and knobs feel substantial and of a high standard. Plugging in my Xylem with everything flat and running through a barefaced super12t the tone shines through. this amp is capable of some very clean bright tones more so than i expected which i am very happy about. engaging the Microtubes engine is a delight giving so many tonal options, i cant wait to drive this properly on sunday in rehearsal and see how it sits in a full band mix.
  18. Thanks, i think im going to try the ms60b, it looks like a safe bet.
  19. no real rush but if the wife gets wind of it there could be trouble lol, best to get it over with and ideally not too close to christmas plus i would love to try it properly at a gig and my last one for a while is on nov 5th, if i dont have one by then ill probably cancel my order and see how things pan out.
  20. just cancelled my andertons order and preordered from bassdirect, they are expecting a shipment next week so i thought it was worth a try.
  21. Not looking good good. They were showing as due into Andertons today but they just updated the item page, next expected delivery date Nov 30th :^(
