great amp and cabs but that price seems steep to say the least https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Marshall-Bass-Amp-HEAD-DBS-7400-and-CABS-4x10s-1x15/122940446866?hash=item1c9fd25892:g:REQAAOSwXoxab5OS

Dont bother its knackered. Only 1 input works and only 1speaker works properly for a start, the rest are farting or dead. Think its been in a flood at some point.

think im gonna nip over that way and try it out :^)

the large one we use hangs perfectly and folds up without creases, we have it pulled tight in rehearsal as we are using pre existing hooks so it doesnt hang quite right there
-
we use a couple of pull up banners for quick get in gigs and a proper printed fire certificated one, which is great for more established venues that require the proper paperwork the pull ups were £23 each and the full cert one was about £220 i think, the print quality on that one is superb, its just set up at our rehearsal place in the pic. overall i think they were both good purchases.

From the news letter ' NAMM 2018 Preview - Touching Bass After 1st unveiling the prototype back at NAMM 2016, we have some good news and some bad news; the good news is that you WILL see a bass this year at NAMM, the bad news its the same Bass as before. However, the Boden bass will be touched up with a nice finish as well as upgraded electronics. We will also have some very special news to come along with this prototype... stay tuned for the announcement at NAMM!' fingers crossed other versions are in the works, given the wording it sound like a possibility.- 150 replies

Big tone, small cab, low (ish) volume, for rehearsing.
winterfire666 replied to winterfire666's topic in Amps and Cabs
i didnt know those were available in a 10'', lots of options all of a sudden lol i use a barefaced super 12t for my melodic metal band and a huge weighty marshall DBS 7412 4x12 for the thrash band, both too big for lounge noodling. -

might be interested in trying the eich, the size is great and havent seen this model before. the wizzy is an option too. it has to be something i can use the darkglass with as i love the tone i might have to make a trip to bass direct in the new year and see what they have, actually just on the website now, trace elliot 2x8 and 1x10 ELF cabs look pretty sweet. -

yeah the one10 is a possibility, ideally i want something smaller than a 1x12 though, i have a spot where i want to hide it in the lounge, just see what options there are, ive looked into pjb stuff but cant seem to see a very small cab in the current available range(the small stuff all seem to be combos), ive only heard a big pjb rig before which was great but not what im looking for. -

Im on the lookout for a small cab for home practicing. The smaller the better ideally. I want something i can get a nice full sound from at low ish volumes, any ideas? Im using a darkglass m900. Thanks. -

I know i would struggle picking this up after the listing so ive messaged him and agreed on £80 . Just impatiently waiting on details for picking it up, hopefully itll happen today. A bit of a punt but seems like a decent deal though. -

I agree it all looks a little off. Im sure its not helped by the chrome on the pickups. Fingers crossed things will be adjusted. When i got my os6 guitar i wasnt overly into the looks but i got it as a recording guitar and i love it now. If it plays as well as that and sounds great it really doesnt matter to me if the pickup config looks a little off, gotta have black hardware though.- 150 replies

Ill be interested to see what kind of pickup configurations, electronics and finishes they go for . Heres hoping for a maple board/ black hardware option with a purple/blue burst finish and a darkglass tone capsule. Pickups wise the guitars tend to use suhr/seymour duncan/fishman/lace so i would expect to see something from one of those brands on there.- 150 replies
