Hi, Crimson Clocks are looking for a new guitarist, we are Birmingham based and mainly play originals, with the occasional cover thrown in. We cover a range of styles including (but not limited to) latin, ska and rock so you would need to be fairly versatile. We are looking for someone with a good sense of humour and good stage presence, who is willing to input into song creation and take a role in promoting gigs and the band generally. Age is not important, though it's worth noting that the rest of us are over 35... A number of gigs have been at 'steampunk' events, so dressing to look the part is also required. You will need to have your own transport and gear, gigs are mainly in the Midlands but can occasionally be further afield. Last night went well, the sound setup was one of the best we've had which made things much easier and it was a venue we've played before - more people there than last time though which was great.

Next weekend, if anyone has nothing to do that night

I went back to 4 strings at the start of the year, probably won't go back to 5. The 4 seems to be much more comfortable to play.

First time friends from work had come to see us, and I had got us the gig as well so I was feeling the pressure a bit before we started. Things went really well, lot of good comments from people afterwards (including the venue owner), only wish more people had been there.

He's really impressive, seems to be totally into the music as well.
