I bought mine new last March and I can't think of a single problem I've had with it. The pickups sound great, there's no sharp fret edges, it's solidly built and cost me half the price of a MIM Fender. Great bass.

The little solo at the end is definitely played with a plectrum, and the resr of the song is too I reckon. The video confused me too because he swaps between fingers and plec constantly.

The link works now if anyone's still interested. Looking back I can hear how badly mixed these are, singing's too loud and too similar to Morrissey and I'm barely audible on some tracks. Bit disappointed!

My Squier and Marshall stack will probably do it for me for a good few years yet, I sound the same on anything else after I've fiddled with the EQ anyway so I don't see the point in changing yet Slightly off topic I know.

I used to watch Paul Wolfe's lessons, they were a massive help in my first year of playing.
