  1. I heard if you say his name three times into a mirror at midnight he appears behind you and fills your inbox with spam
  2. Yes it would. If your band's not racist, I'm not your bassist. (Not actually a racist)
  3. Lots of good tips here especially the ones regarding practicing the song. In my experience I could never stop the nerves beforehand but once I started to play at my first few gigs I realised the audience aren't actually watching me like hawks and scrutinising my every move like I feared. There's other people on the stage too and they're on your side, and with doing just one song it'll be over before you know it! I hope it goes well for you, the first one is daunting so good on you for getting up there nerves or not.
  4. For me it's the general concept of music
  5. What a cool room!
  6. Cool, what are those weird looking basses at the back?
  7. "Yeah man this is a real tasty jam, digging those hot licks you're throwing into the pocket. Pure mojo pouring out of your axe."
  8. "Hot lick" is a horrendous expression 😂
  9. -When someone says something like "let's have a jam" -Calling a guitar an axe -The word mojo -"the pocket" -When you see band members looking at each other like some little lick they've just played is the best thing to ever hit human ears, with a stupid smug look on their faces. I understand that they're getting into the music and enjoying themselves but I still hate it, smug fart sniffing b*****ds. -The word "lick"
  10. Wondering why my amp isn't working before noticing there's no cable in my bass.
  11. I like the song but yeah that bass is buried isn't it?
  12. Are you telling us to like it or asking us if we like it?
  13. I can't imagine performing without my strap on. Always make sure it's secured tightly
  14. It hasn't stopped Rod
  15. Not to hand but I recently got a mk2 and the DI out is definitely affected by the master volume
  16. Version 1 is affected by the gain only but the newer versions are affected by both
  17. I could only see a ground lift button
  18. Just got a replacement for my original Terror Bass 500 (my son destroyed that one by putting ice cream on top of it...) and I noticed the volume control now affects the DI out signal as well as the gain, where the older models only used the gain. Is that a deliberate change or is mine goosed? I used to be able to record with my old model having the volume turned down to zero, effectively using it as a pre-amp box and now I need to have the cab blasting out to record a decent signal. I'm not gigging at the moment but I can see it causing trouble for some poor sound guy too at some point 😀
