Take the straplock off the strap, put the strap on the button then put the straplock over the top. Like super shiny grolsh washer!

You might also like to try the compressor upstream of the octave pedal, sometimes it cleans up the signal and helps it to track better.

I don't doubt you are right BigRedX but some times there just isn't room on some of the stages we play for an extra keyboard and stand, hence the attraction of a pedal. I suppose I could use my V-Accordion as a Midi controller but the image wouldn't fit!

Budget Zoom stuff such as the B1on and ms60b both have good synth emulators and you can also experiment by adding on filters or chorus to fatten things up at the end of a chain. Excellent demo Roland Rock by the way.

I think all mine are in the backwaters thread, can't see the point of posting again. I wouldn't say they're all nice examples either, my 465 in particular is a hard working bass with many scars but it has seen off several much more expensive replacements.

Banjo player wanted by Waxies Dargle, a well established band playing the music of the Pogues. We have an immediate vacancy for a 5 string or tenor banjo, or a guitarist willing to convert. We have a mix of paid gigs and festivals and could take on more bookings with a reliable and committed banjo player. The band is based in Ipswich and gigs in Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk, with the occasional trip to Ireland. Vocals would be a bonus as would a bit of mandolin. We are not a tribute band so no dental work will be required.

I have a Rally mandolin, a superb instrument made from quality woods including an ebony fingerboard and binding, less than £300 new. Not seen the basses before, this looks very nice. Purple Turtle in Stockport used to be the importer, they went bust a few years ago.
