1.
His " better half" is obviously a good judge ...-
Does that mean he has the other half of the guitar as well and it's slightly better than this??????
 2.
Splendid, Tim..! A group effort, I see; excellent playing and production. Comments left. It's going to be a tough choice, this month, yet again..!
A certain tune has taken the lead for me at this point. I think we might get a few more entries yet though.
 3. hi guys, heres my entry for this month. Pitchy vocals and a very bad mix but I don't have time for anything else as Im away for a week starting tomorrow. Not strictly adhering to the photo but i found the guy was influencing me more than the photo so I tried to detach myself from what I already knew about the guy..... if that makes sense. Anyway here it is. I hope you like it. https://soundcloud.com/theboysings/when-you-feel-like-letting-go
 4.
I'm actually on it this time. No need for vocals. So far it's exactly like the plan in my head. Just have to record a guitar part and mix a few samples in then done.
Exactly like the plan in your head. You lucky bastRd. I never even come close. I've got 7 ideas this month. The picture is so wide open. I've got a favourite idea but it requires a lot of vocal and I can't be arsed. Let's see what happens. I'm loving the entries so far. I don't have a favourite yet though I'm sure one will get its hook in me soon.
 5. That is bad. What on earth would age naturally in that way?
 6.
I used to belong to someone here on Basschat.
Was this in a romantic manner? Or were you forced into submission.....? Please elaborate, this topic has suddenly got interesting.

The following is taken from the UK's Intellectual Property website and should prove useful to you; There is no official registration system for copyright in the United Kingdom (UK) and most other parts of the world. There are no forms to fill in and no fees to pay to get copyright protection. So long as you have created a work that qualifies for copyright protection, that is it falls into one of the categories of material protected by copyright, you will have copyright protection without having to do anything to establish this. It is a requirement of various international conventions on copyright that copyright should be automatic with no need to register. To help protect your copyright work, it is advisable to mark it with the © symbol, the name of the copyright owner and the year of publication. 8. I'm losing faith in Basschat rapidly as I read this topic. In fact I think it is sucking the life out of me.
 9.
Another dare-devil..!
LMFAO.......
 10. Haven't used it but a singer/songwriter I know uses mainstage and it sounds awesome. Might be worth checking out.
 11. I hate when people do these things. It always sounds cheap and insincere.
 12. I've seen this guy before. He's a nutter. I'm in.
 13. Well done Paul, awesome track. Congrats.
 14.
Nice looking, but a pain in the ass to play.
I'm guessing on the strap it's ok but on the knee it would be a pain in the ass.

 16. You've got to be good, You've got to be known, You've got to be hardworking. If you have these three attributes you will make a living. Beyond that it's mostly luck. When I say known, I mean on the circuit you want to work in.
 17. It's gonna be very tough to pick a winner this month. I've listened to them all a lot and there are 4 that I could vote for as it stands. Need to pick one though, that's the hard part. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....... I need to sleep on it.
 18.
Surely the value of the bass is irrelevant? Or did you mean "Best mic under £100 for recording a bass" ?
Pedant......
 19.
Hilarious..! Bear in mind that, to me (old codger...) a modern telephone is this... ...so I imagine you on the bus, going to work, singing away to your 'phone all these lines. Must get some strange looks..! We'll have to be careful not to let this leak out into 'Viral-Land', or we'll be responsable for the most hated Summer Hit of all time. Just think, if the pop stations decided to plug it..? Pure mayhem..! Excellent; well done, well thought out. You'll have to explain one day how you manage to do all this on just a 'phone, though..!
Lol yes that's the exact phone I used.
 20. Here's my April entry, made entirely on my phone at work so please be forgiving of the production. My mate commented that it's "possibly the most annoying song in the world" so apologies again if you share the sentiment. Lol http://m.soundcloud.com/theboysings/aint-nobody-hurtin-2
 21.
Ah, so you got the cheque, then..?
Pmd.
 22. I've got an idea. It came to me today. Inspiration comes from the funniest places. I've got it worked out, all that's left to do is record and mix it. I think I will do a recording on my phone this month. I won't have time to sit down at the computer and do it properly so it will have to be my phone on the go. Great entries so far. There is a clear leader at the moment for me but I'm sure a few more will come along before the deadline.
 23.
would the preamp work in a jazz?
Yes.
 24.
I haven't shimmed it. I am scared. At the mo the E is a little quiet, the G is a little buzzy on the 17th and I think putting a shim in the mix will create chaos. The saddles are as low as they can go. Help!!!!!
Big girl....., get on with it. There's a topic in here somewhere about shimming the neck. It's easy. Once shimmed start again with your setup. You will find that it's a big improvement for a little effort. I'm not a fan of gotoh bridges but if you are going to fit one you need to see it through and make it work. "The moral of the story is I chose a half measure when I should have gone all the way. I'll never make that mistake again. No more half measures, Walter." Breaking bad quote, not really relevant but very cool.
