1.
it's both unfair and unrealistic to expect the owners of BC to have that fight.
I don't think anyone expects that. I'm guessing the point of this new topic is to explore ways of advertising Rics without the risk of the fight.
 2. Well done Al, great photo and great song this month. A well deserved win. I'm away at the moment but I'm looking forward to getting started once I get back.
 3.
That really is a indication of what can happen once an idea takes hold in the brain in the absence of a proximal restraint mechanism* C * apologies, I've spent the morning writing a lecture on the limitations of the human brain
I agree. This guy initially did some really nice relic jobs. I used to think they were quite well done but over the years he has become desensitised to whats acceptable and what's enough. This is a total disaster. Somebody should buy it and beat him with it.
 4.
Here, have another 'boost'. Mmm... Acoustic song...
Lol.......
 5.
C'mon BOY, I've been waiting for your track all month. theres still time, I know you Can Do It
Yeah I know but everything feels crap and I'm really busy this month. I may record an acoustic song or something. Thanks for the boost Al.
 6. Sod's law, the picture I chose does not inspire me. Lol. I'm out.
 7.
I've actually got something on the go this month! Here it is so far! Please excuse the dodgy guitar playing https://soundcloud.com/thebrokensky/at-sunset
I like.....
 8.
Wow! Seems a shame to eat that! Do you find much difference with the cake having a rosewood fingerboard whereas your bass is maple?
Maple syrup.lol
 9.
Hmm. My vanity persuades me that that's a compliment; so thanks for that.
It is a compliment. Well done. I've had a new idea for mine. Work shall commence this weekend.
 10.
Good evening, all... Here, then, is my contribution... Sunset over a Black Tree... Comments welcome. (Votes, too, of course... )
The intro is cool, it's a little bit like ennio morricone. I've listened a few times and I think you've hit the nail on the head. The only problem I've got with it is, it's very similar to what I had planned. Mmmmmm back to the drawing board.
 11. It's probably not what you want it to be. Avoid.
 12.
If this is rented accommodation, shouldn't you be having this conversation with the landlord and/or the letting agents? Possibly along the lines of damages to your valuable books caused by the damp, and the cost of hiring dehumidifiers to return the property to the state that you contracted to rent it in?
Excellent point. I overlooked that.
 13.
Sounds as though Cubase is opening with an un-used signal source open. Does the hum change if you mute the Cubase o/p..?
This.
 14. I had a basement like this once. Some guy came around and put an extraction fan linked to a humidity sensor. Apparently the problem wAs no air exchange so the damp stagnant air became mouldy. This was ok for storing bikes and stuff in there but if you are storing recording equipment and instruments I would suggest you need to go the whole hog and insulate, heat and extraction. Word to the wise, never store stringed instruments in a damp environment. Archers at the ready.
 15.
Yes. Yes it does. Which is why I still have a job
lol
 16.
He was trying to say the opposite is in fact the case... es todo lo contrario is more what you were after.
Google translation leaves a lot unsaid.
 17.
errrrrmmm.....?
Where's mc nach when you need him. Lol.
 18.
i didn't think there was grass in spain.. just good hash.....
mi hermano, lo contrario es de hecho el caso.
 19. I was once told that Spain is the devils country, for this reason God filled it with angels, and so their is this constant struggle between good and evil which gives birth to a pallet of emotions and temperaments that make the Spanish people so amazing and interesting. This picture by chance represents this perfectly to me. For me this picture says "satans last stand"............ It is also a picture of the Andalusian countryside which is Pacos birthplace so stop overthinking it and get on with it. lol.
 20.
Well Skol , I too have done some googling and it would appear that Al's kids may have been weighing a large fruit and made a bit of a mess , I am not sure why he thinks you are called Ian though , I would just get on with the challenge and let the kids clean their own mess up . Anyway ,I have found a fair bit about Paco de Lucia , but not so much about his brother Andy ,
Or his Sister Ann-
 21.
These are the moments we live for. Too few and far between, I say! Well done.
Too true.
