What's the neck width on the Attitude?
  3. They look very nice, they don't have anything to do with the Cort factory in Korea do they as they look a little familiar.
  4. Plenty, but I need to sell my Bass Collection SG copy first - otherwise there'll be no room for it, even though it is headless!
  5. For sale or trade. Cost £200 new, had it for 6 months, hardly used, still in mint condition. Medium scale (32") currently strung with some cheap flats. Just not for me I'm afraid. Will take £125 to sell or trade for anything interesting with cash from me (obviously!) possibly a 5 string? Prefer local pick up etc. if possible. Cheers. 6. Is the Cort still for sale?
  7. Amazing bit of nostalgia. Played in a big function band in the mid '70's (male/female singer, 3 piece brass section) usually played HA stuff for our first set, though as the trombonist then, I certainly didn't lie down to play!
  8. Well, I've read the thread so thought I'd best join in and put my two penn'orth into the mix. Play in a covers band - currently in semi-retirement due to singers bowel cancer and in the music group at our local church (C of E) and a worship band that lead a monthly service. Aside from the reason we do it, it gives me a great work out on bass guitar and EUB with a far higher turn over of songs than my gigging band! Played for a service in our local Tesco's car park on Good Friday - 150 people singing with us playing, truly awesome! Great to see so many fellow travellers!
  9. Had an EB0, not bad but a bit of a one trick pony soundwise. Nice short scale neck though. Also I recently bought a Bass Collection Blues bass which is a medium scale Chinese made EB3 which I really like. Slight neck dive but with a suede strap it's fine, better variety of sounds and nice neck feel. Also now for sale at £199 which I would say is a a bargain! It seems very well made and I've gigged with it a couple of times, cuts through nicely and suits our covers band stuff well. That's my twopennorth anyhow!!
  10. OK, well I've got the Bass Collection 'Blues Bass' which is has an SG shaped body, 2 p/u, 32" scale length. Had it for 3 or 4 months, rehearsed with it weekly and gigged with it twice in my covers band (60's to today). So far, very happy with it, medium scale length great for my small arthritic hands, very nice sound through my Markbass, all in all it is great, feels very nice and comfy, good sound for what I play - have used it with my new blues project too. Bought from the Bass Centre, very nicely set up and ready to go! Bought it on a Friday afternoon, gigged with it on the Saturday ( did give it a serious workout on the Friday night in my defence). Only issue I have is that as a Precision player normally, I keep looking for somewhere to put my thumb, as I am a finger player! I may add a thumbrest, otherwise a great bass!
  11. Fantastic! Thanks guys.
  12. Just seen the video of 'Who are you' on Virgin media for the first time, what is John Entwhistle playing? It seems to have a Fender neck (Precision, all maple?) and a Gibson Explorer body with gold p/u covers. Love to know, just in case I ever get asked to be in a bass related pub quiz!!
  13. What sort of condition is it in and would you post/courier it?
  14. I have one of these 50's Ps absolutely brilliant bass. I had a pickguard custom made by Aurora Project www.auroraproject.co.uk/ . I sent them the metal p/g and they made me a white one with the holes in the right place for their standard charge and were great to deal with.
  15. Is this still available? A long shot Iknow!!
  16. +1 for all the options, I use my Steinberger Spirit as a spare for all gigs - it seems indestructable, never goes out of tune and can lean against a wall without falling over!

For Sale, a couple of years old, used but looked after. Just had new strings and a polish. Just decided to sell it so a stock picture, will sort out a proper one over the weekend. Reason for sale - now mainly using short scale for my arthritic fingers! Otherwise an excellent bass - active with a variety of sounds. Very under rated. Would prefer a pick up from home or meet in London. £200. Will come in a Gator case if needed.
  19. Bought the exact same model on a whim a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it! Seems nicely put together and maybe a one trick pony(ish) but in my covers band that does some Beatles it fits in nicely and cuts through really well. Also great on stage especially if like me you like to move about a bit! If you're getting a strap for it, get a suede backed one just to conquer the slight neck dive. Otherwise - ENJOY!!
  20. Out of my small stable of 4 I generally use my Cort B4 as it does all I need for our old covers and anything more modern, with my Steinberger Spirit in reserve, just in case (not needed it yet, fotunately).
  21. Had some SD Quarter Pounders put on my MIM 50's P, terrific, like a new instrument. What's the Gotoh bridge do to the sound?
