1. I tried one of these many years ago (in the back-room of a little pub but that's another story) and seriously loved it! It's now the jazz that all other jazzes I try are measured against and none have measured up (yet).
2.
Pups will be ready next week. Apart from these, the bass is now virtually complete. The dots have arrived from Japan - 60mm this time! Just a couple of decisions still to be made. The pups, upon the suggestion of Allighat0r, may go green. We'll have a look with them natural and make a decision. This has a nice look though (note they couldn't get the ripples gong the same way as the neck either):
Aesthetically pleasing to have the neck colour continue into the body area, tying the two together. Neither green or natural would be functinally different either so no utility issues there.
3. Steve and I just completed a postal trade, all went without a hitch and everything arrived as promised. All good new here too! Recommended bc'er. Thanks matey!
4. these are quality pedals and sound superb, I love mine!
5. They sound a bit like maroon 5 but with a better singer, same cheesy pop songs and sound but superb musicianship! I'd expect my wife to really like it and I can then secretly enjoy the playing while she hums along to the catchy tune
6.
Great pedal, great price, sold my EBS Unichorus for one of these
Thanks buddy! I did the same and it is a great chorus pedal I just have no need for it at the moment and I could use the cash to buy a DHA vt-1 that would be of great use in an upcoming project...
7.
not sure how much a switchcraft one is but it should be way less than a tenner and they're way more solid than the usual bobbins bunged in kit

A switchcraft jack socket like this should sort you out - http://www.ebay.co.u...t-/281193654168
quite a lot less than a tenner! about £2 in fact!!

9.
Boom, boom!
10. ah...this sort of thing then
11. they look rather smart don't they!
12. have an 'I miss living in West Yorkshire' bump
13. This the one? http://www.slab66.com/ looks very nice!...lots of nice pics but no description as to what you actually do and no help on ordering/commissioning a bass from you? navigation feels a bit strange too, a bit like reading an e-book rather than 'click the link to go to the bit you want'
14. if someone would kindly buy my dean p-bass, tent and tc corona I'd have the cash to buy this...
15. welcome Adam to our happy (ish) house of mayhem
16. Sean bought one of my patch cables recently, excellent comms, great to deal with, paid when he said he would. Cheers buddy, recommended!
17. are you near anyone else with a similar p-bass from on here? coffee, chat, a-b the basses??
18. I recently switched the original wiring loom on my MIM 50's P for a kiogon one (CTS pots, switchcraft jack and sprague capacitor on the tone pot) and the difference is amazing! The pots now go from 0-11 referencing every number inbetween and the cap has made a big difference to the tone when full up and completely off, there's more punch/oomph available on all settings! A huge difference for such a simple operation!
19. it does rather precllude the 'muted tuning' option though doesn't it?
20. lovely looking bass, the pics slipped in 'under the radar' though
21. [s]For sale my TC Corona chorus, band on hiatus, 'the song' I used this on has been dropped from the set even if we restart, so, this pedal (used for one song of one gig!) is now not required and can go to a new home. It's in pristine condition, not a mark on it (I've added some velcro to the bottom), boxed with all original bits & cable etc and as new. pics... Local collection from Sheffield is welcome (as always) but UK shipping is included in the £80.[/s]
22. despite my dislike of green basses that's looking really smart, it's a good shade of green, not too bright and garish, subtle and possible even classy!
