    The rockboard cable was ideal for my purpose, connecting my home-made MIDI control box to my HX Stomp. I had a good look at it before buying to make sure everything would be orientated correctly.

    I think I understand, I bought Mrs Zero the Vangoa EWI which has sax and flute fingering. Presumably clarinet would be a bit different again.

    It is built, except that my Vong is also sitting unloved (and, indeed, unworking) on a shelf. I also ran into some puzzling issues with the up/down switch which is now sitting waiting for me to remember about it (I suspect I have ADHD but at 66 it's probably a bit late to start pursuing enquiries along those lines). I put a Subsonic filter in (https://guitar-electronics.eu/en_US/c/SUBSONIC-FILTER/84) - after all, I may want to use a 4-effect chain.

    Switch debouncing? But a capacitor and a JK flip-flop with J and K left to float to logic 1 would probably accomplish the same thing.

    I'll just repeat what I said in the cult thread. They seem to be taking their time releasing the MS-60B+ (and the MS-70CDR+). Interesting to see the new extensions to the range, the MS-200D+ (guitar drives and distortions) and MS-80IR+ (presumably IRs, not released yet). Looking at the MS-50G+, they've gone from 30 presets and 50 user patches on the MS-50G to 85 presets and 15 user patches (admittedly, if the same was true of the MS-60B+ then that would still be at least 10 more than I need). USB-C port now, and still no port of software to Android. You'd think that Zoom might notice that 75% of the smartphone market is Android. There are also fewer effects on the G+ (100, the G shipped with 100 but another 72 can be downloaded). Effects chain length remains 6, still 24-bit with 128x oversampling on A/D and D/A conversions, still 32-bit processing, so is this a hardware change rather than anything significant in the guts of the machine?

    As you say, the T Rex Classic looks like it's limited to a total of 500mA DC.     I haven't used a B6 so this is based on my knowledge of the B3 and B3n. You have various modes that you can use it in, and the two that would most likely be useful to you while playing are patch (Memory) mode and stompbox (Effect board) mode. Memory mode just needs one press of a button to switch between the four patches within the same bank, so you would use those for significantly different sounds either within a song or from one song to another. Effect board mode means you can switch effects on and off within a patch. More than four patches and you need to do a bit of tap-dancing in Bank/Patch mode to go up or down the banks.

    When the standard says "1/8 non-clipped output power", is that 1/8 of the measured maximum non-clipped output power or 1/8 of the claimed maximum output power?

    A square wave consists of a sum of sine waves at the fundamental frequency and odd order harmonics with an amplitude inversely proportional to the harmonic frequency (at 3f it's 1/3 the amplitude of the fundamental, 5f is 1/5 the amplitude, etc) so there's going to be a fair few harmonics but they're going to be progressively smaller in amplitude.

    If you do that, files called image.png (IIRC) get created on the BC server, which are bigger than they need to be. My approach (other approaches are available) is to load the original picture into Irfanview, reduce it in size, save it as a named file, then either drag the named file to the area under the composition window that says "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or click on "choose files" and select the named file. Then click "Insert" on the picture and it'll get inserted wherever you've got to in the composition window. It takes less time to do it than it did to type all that.
