2. Just bought an Ashdown CTM100 from Andre. Super smooth deal. Great person to deal with. The packaging from Germany was spot on. Highly recommended.
3. There are loads but mostly its James Jamerson, Leland Sklar and Guy Pratt. Here is Guy this week on Jools Hoalland. http://youtu.be/fCriwORA4E4
4. Single bass chap here. Bravewood J Bass. Not because I dont want more, but because I'm skint.
5. This track has one of my fav Jazz Bass sounds, (lots of compression too!) and this one http://youtu.be/TdT4t0ywppA
6. There was a photographer at my last gig and some of the pics came out ok. ;-)
7. Wow, looks really nice. Would like to try this.
8. Watching that makes me want a P bass with flat wounds and an SVT rig. Which is the complete opposite to what I use! Awesome.
9. I am watching this at the moment, its great. Roland Rock

Just bought a Rockbag from Roland. Easy transaction and top bloke.
12. pm'd I like pretty much everything about this.
13. As others have said, I think your current setup is ideal. I wouldn't change anything. Try out the tube tone settings.
14. I would be up for it. No further east than Exeter for me though. Exeter would be nearly a 200 mile round trip for me.
15. I thought Dolly sang live. You could hear that she was slightly out of breath over the mike. I don't think she played Yakety Sax though.
16. I really enjoyed Goldfrapp. Bearded hippy is not my cuppa but it's ok. Paulo Nutini was a personal fav also enjoyed Kelis and Foster the People.
17. wrong forum - moved
18. Exactly. It doesn't look like it will work at all.

20. I had a dep gig in Newquay last night and took my rig of doom. I had only met the guys in the band once for a run through last week so they hadn't seen the super compact. They were a little sceptical - until the sound check! It was all smiles after that. The gig was great fun too. Back line only, drums and one of the guitars were miked. Small vocal PA. No sweat for the super compact.
21. I have had no issues with volume or tone when playing live with one of the old compacts or one of the super compacts. I use a Thunderfunk TFB-550 and a passive Jazz bass. This is alongside one of the loudest drummers ever!
