1. Here's one I made earlier. Actually I did make it on the John Shuker bass course in February. I wanted a jazz bass with a MM pickup and a P pickup. It has a rear cavity for active electronics one day too.
2. Sold Tim a Barefaced Super Midget. Top chap and easy transaction.
3. I bought some tuners from Nick. Easy transaction and fast delivery.
4. I am selling a Barefaced Super Midget, Generation 3. £450 + shipping http://barefacedbass...uper-Midget.htm

It's a tiny lightweight 1x12" with fully adjustable high quality tweeter
It'll play loud with as little as 150W, it'll handle 600W amps without sweating
It is a great little speaker that will keep up in almost any situation. I don't really want to sell it but I have been lured by the GAS again and have ordered a retro 2x10" Whoops. It comes with a padded Roksolid cover with blue piping. The condition is almost as new. I have gigged it so there may be a small mark on it somewhere but I couldn't find one. Pics:

6. I totally agree with the above. One thing I really like about having an electronic kit live is the on stage volume is reduced. The back line can come down and I dont have to wear ear plugs. Walking out front I have been impressed with the band sound everytime.
7. My favourite radio show, whether on Radio 2 or Radio 6.
8. Last one I got was from Halfords and once housed a bike. I wandered in and politly asked if they had a spare box. I then wandered out with a massive box made out of very strong cardboard.
9. Its not just you. I need to go through any new purchase and make it mine, that is one of the first tasks usually.
10.
Indeed it is... Mark Gooday (owner of Ashdown) is a friend of Mark King's and has full permission to use the name, although it is not linked to Mark King or Level 42 in any way
Cool, thank you for the info. I was on my own little nostalgia trip. Trace Elliot, Level 42, takes me back.
11. Turns out that Retroglide is also the name of a Level 42 album......
12. I just spotted this pic on Facebook. Reminds me of a Trace Elliot amp head. No bad thing.
13. I was planning on getting a second super compact eventually but now that the mIdget is here I am actually glad I didn't get another compact. I think for my need needs this set is much more flexible. 😀
14. Update: I saw I second hand Super Midget in Bass Direct last week and couldn't help myself. I had to have it!! Last night I gigged it with my Super compact and can say I am super chuffed.
15. eBay. I have got several used flight cases from eBay for a fraction of the cost of new ones.
16. Scott bought a Carvin BX500 from me recently. The transaction was perfect. Good communication. Swift payment. Highly recomended.
17. Bows, 'we're not worthy.' Congrats.
18. You are correct Mark_ii. I may regret selling it yet but I cant keep everything.
