9. First off, the first part of your post doesn't really ask a question, its a statement. Your getting one made, excellent. Pleased for you. That "guy" at Sims is probably Martin the boss and one of the nicest and most helpful people in the business. You will get a top notch plate from him, rest assured. Re the second part of your post, is your bass making excessive noise then? If it is, then I am surprised on a MIA P bass. If not, dont worry about screening etc.
10. Dave, As you know I put a trad in my CV which was fine for what I wanted (a more Motowny sound). However in previous Ps Ive had I have put the Thumper in, its a bit livelier and the output is a tad hotter i think. For what your after, go for the Trad mate.
11. I have a RH450, the 210 and the 212 cab. I have yet to use the 210 live!!! The 212 has been sufficient for everything so far. It is nice stuff.
12. From The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton has finished talks with Mr Gooday and is now the owner of an ABM900 and 8x10 cab for FTJ tours. Hope he manages to keep his trademark sound!

15. I have this exact rig and it is awesome. I paid a slip over what Geddy is asking here. This is a great portable modular rig that delivers a great sound. More of an old school tone at its core. GL with sale.
16. Ah yes, was that just sloppy QC at the time ?
17.
Thats standard - the non-aligned edge. My '72 Precision has that and is still the nicest bass I've ever played. Not an issue for me!
Ah,thanks for that Clarky. Learn something new every day. Cheers. Restored my faith in the bass now!

19. Wizard Trad P pickup for the classic thud. Wizard Thumper for something a bit more exciting. Great prices and Andys customer support is second to none.
