  1. Bass player needed for established rock/pop band based in Morden/Wimbledon/Worcester Park area. https://youtu.be/q0PJgXww2NE please contact [email protected]
  2. I wish I could have contributed in a practical way to this incredible project. As it is I have nothing but respect for those who made it possible.
  3. I had it set to 100% wet and it was working. Then without me touch it, it wasn't But thank you @Jonathan Bee
  4. Well done, fantastic work. But one important question. Badge placement.... Always been a top left kind of guy myself. Or a bottom central. What is the guidence here?
  5. Thanks guys. I have ordered a new set distinct from my usual brand and will keep them exclusively for the line 6 so I can test them. I was so close! Approaching the final chorus of the last song when they died.
  6. Hello again bass hive mind. Another question for your collective wisdom: My Line 6 G75 indicated I had 4 hours 55 minutes battery life at the start of my gig. Then under two hours later it died on me. What gives?
  7. Hello bass hive mind. Asking this one out of curiosity really as I'll soon be using alternative methods to shift my pitches. I depped with a band last night who did awkward things like playing songs I know well, but did them in different keys. Down a semi tone up a full tone that kind of thing. I know, I'll cheat and use the pitch shift on my B3 to drop the semi-tone. Tried it, sounded fine actually, job done. But then when I came to use it I discovered that it had developed a fault. Despite both patch balance and the balance on the pitch shift being dialled to 100% the original note still bled through. As you can imagine this sounded horrendous and so I had to transpose on the fly instead. How or why could this have happened?
  8. TOMORROW?? You have patience beyond the power of human imagination.
  9. Yep, saw that on funkles label and it got me thinking . So is yours 000?
  10. Stevie, are you filling out the details on the labels? We need not to end up with ten 001 cabs 😂
  11. That finish looks brilliant, well done for persevering. Also love the label. It's the touches like this that really finish the job nicely.
  12. I'm excited and I don't even get to hear it
  13. This is a fascinating discussion. One could deepen it by asking: if we are interested in honour and decency, which of us has bought something we know to be under priced? Do we offer more money? Or do we experience a sense of dishonourable satisfaction? Ethics and morals always suffer a certain elasticity in the context of money. We all delight in a bargain but a bargain only means someone else getting less than they ought to. Similarly we applaud distance selling regations which allow us to 'cool off' but are unhappy if a seller 'cools off'. Perhaps this whole situation would have ended more happily if the seller simply asked to be allowed to pull out and explained why. Thus giving the buyer the power of choice. Had this happened and the buyer refused would the seller be here bemoaning a lack of decency? Possibly.
  14. Yes. Others are allowed to reconsider and change their minds. Just as you and anyone else is entitled to be disappointed
  15. Thank you so much. I'd have had no idea without these shots
  16. As I said earlier my reaction was different from yours but not right or wrong just different. You've every right to your feelings and to voice them. The real positive here is that we can share ideas, experiences and views without resorting to nastiness and name calling.
  17. Only had one deal here which gave me any cause for concern and I was warned off by a vigilant fellow member. The mods dealt with the guy, no harm done. The chap who changed his mind and refunded did nothing to put me off trading here with him or anyone else. I can't count all the other hassle free transactions I've enjoyed over the years. This is still a safe place.
  18. Lends a whole new meaning to 'selfie stick'
  19. Happened to me one step farther on down the line. I had paid, but the seller refunded my PayPal when he changed his mind so I hadn't lost anything. I feel that we all have the perfect right to change our minds, as buyers and sellers, but it was a little odd. Left me wondering why. I had forgotten about it until I saw this thread though. I suppose there are plenty of reasons none of which were actually my business. However these were my reactions, it seems to me the OP has every right to react in their own way regardless how I or anyone else might feel.
  20. I know. Shame that the fretboard isn't redder isn't it 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
  21. Not if it's so ugly I never pick it up it won't! 🤔
  22. 🤦🏼‍♂️
