  1. Have you had a play with it yet?
  2. Quality
  3. Love it 🤩
  4. Covering a blemish in the finish in this instance. But they can serve any purpose Share them here. Or just tell us all how much you hate them, if that gives you joy.
  5. I used mine tonight. Small stage so space at a premium. Everything about this neat little system is just perfect. It's tidy, the pedals are secure and perfectly spaced, it doesn't slide around, and packs away nicely. I am a happy camper
  6. I've been using a Lidl one for many many years. They're really good
  7. Hoggans Promotions. They seem to have the pub scene pretty much tied up
  8. You're quite correct. Too short and annoyingly big plugs. Worst of both worlds. Push the pedals apart while simultaneously too small to reach between pedals
  9. Very responsive Phaser, very fast too! Turned far down as you can see and still moving pretty quickly. No loss of bottom end, no volume increase or decrease. Rich thick Phaser especially with a bit of dirt on the bass

  10. I wish you a speedy recovery. Nerve pain is beyond hell
  11. I am off to see Joe Dart in Bristol on Monday. Thank you so much @la bam

  13. Wow. Thanks for the heads up. A bit too far away for me, unfortunately, but interesting nonetheless.
  14. Affordaboard makes buying effects a relatively inexpensive bit of fun. My latest dip included this little gem: £25. Delivered. Bonkers. I have it set to give me an always on 'thickening' with just a bit of dirt around the edges. It does get fuzzier if you want it to, and has excellent tone controls. There's no loss of bottom end anyway, but it can be enhanced rather nicely. Pros: looks neat, sounds great, responsive controls, crazy cheap. Cons: stupid placement of power socket, absolutely blinding led.
  15. The do longer ones
  16. So sorry to beat you to the punch - and without you I wouldn't have known about it. I too am thinking of putting multi effects in one. By the way Amazon has a deal on tiny patch cables if you're looking. They're 16 quid for 6 but with a £6 off voucher! 17. 14 3/4 inches x 6 inches
  18. Might go with this tomorrow. By the way I lifted just the front edges of the foam and slid the velcro under them. No need to glue it down.
  19. My first go... I have ordered two more, at 8 quid each I would be a chump not to.
  20. Thanks guys, I'm actually going with @kodiakblair 's idea and moving the neck farther away. The neck has to be put on again anyway because it's not straight. This is turning into a bit of a lesson.
  21. If I could find a bridge that suited the bass and covered all the holes drilled out to sink the existing bridge into the body, then yes, absolutely.
  22. OK folks, getting the ruler out to measure string height, I used it to check what my unreliable eyesight was telling me. The bridge has been bodged on and it isn't square. Not much but the couple of mm I need. Nothing short of major surgery can fix this one I'm afraid.
  23. about 5mm
  24. Nope, new strings didn't work
  25. Cool. I'll try that next - thank you
