    Hi, any pics yet mate?
  2. After a rather convoluted Hermes tale (I shan't bore you) the very lovely lady who is the final link in the Hermes chain said to us "We're a bloody nightmare aren't we"
  3. I was pondering in an idle moment how popular music can be peeled, layer by layer, from today's big new thing all the way back to the caveman banging on a hollow log. Simultaneously I wondered why, if I listen to the music which influenced a favourite artist, I seldom like it or even see the join. So have you ever peeled back the skin and found you liked or even preferred what lived underneath? I can give one example. The Two Tone craze of the late 70s is directly responsible for my love of 60s Jamaican ska. However, peel that back to Mento and I don't dig it So I manage one step! Once.
  4. Built by our very own @paul_5 this little beauty is a clone with a couple of additional features. With increased sensitivity and an additional 2 decay speeds this is a really flexible pedal. Easily as good as commercial offerings I've used which demand four or five times the price. The only decision I have now is whether I trust my memory or create artwork for the case...

  5. Great Basschatter, brilliant to deal with in every respect. Kudos.
  6. Arthur Barrow's book is on my list, thank you.
  7. An aside.. I support a guy who is blind. Specifically I take him to his band rehearsals, and gigs. Assist him setting up his drum kit. It's a Zappa tribute.
  8. Pee em.
  9. Don't get me wrong it is a wonderful bit of kit, but the LS2 booted it from my main board.
  10. Allow me to join the clamour of LS2 love. Small footprint, incredible flexibility, only other pedal I have that does similar is the Tri Parallel Mixer, and it's nearly 3X the size.
  11. Nope, sorry mate. I have a Scavenger.
  12. Digitech have nailed pitch shifting for me.
  13. Have you tried just splitting your signal? Almost any distortion improves immeasurably when blended to taste.
  14. I may be selling an 80s one soon...
  15. BL always takes me back to 2006 when a DJ pal put together a band and had us learn one of the great man's albums. We then gigged with the DJ. As he faded the track out we took over, then after a suitable time he brought up the next tune. I miss that guy, and owning a music venue. When I was in my 30s it felt as if anything was possible. We would regularly form bands for just one or two gigs. Every other punter was a musician - or so it seemed. Our Christmas and NYE ensemble bands were something to behold!
  16. It's dandy! Thank you.
  17. This is the one I'm using.
  18. Hi, as the title suggests I have four speakers, each one rated 8 ohm, and wish to wire them in such a way that they will be safe to use with an amp which has but one output. The amp is rated at 4 ohm minimum. Here's my question. Is this diagram correct?
  19. Couldn't find a feedback thread for @SumOneso I find myself in the splendid position of starting one. I got a bit carried away with the Ebay auction and paid more than I could have here, but it was fun so that's worth a couple of pounds in these quiet times. SumOne kept me updated, packed the parcel exceptionally well and posted it to me at the first opportunity. Deal with absolute confidence y'all.
  20. 82 quid! I was expecting a last second flurry! But no. I pushed too hard
