Very kind Tim thank you. A couple of folk have asked it I will do a straight sale. Not my preffered choice however, yes, I probably would. £650 collected from Wigan. £680 couriered, or £650 if you sort your own courier. Bank transfer, cash on collection or cheque (but respectfully, you would need to wait until the cheque cleared). Sorry, no PAINPal and UK only. Still prefer the right trade though Ta, Karl.
Karl why have you done this i was quite happily going along in the knowledge i had nothing to trade !!!!!!, been really toying with the idea of getting another of these to go with my BG and this is stunning, need to do some thinking !!! anyway in the meantime have a bump on me. Cheers Steve

Having just got an ampeg combo and sold my cabs have decided to see if there is any interest in my ABM500 EVO111. Bought new from PMT im Mnachester about 8 months ago, All technical blurb is below excellent amp love this but seeing as we DI everything now and i only use my amp as an onstage monitor found a small combo does the trick so this will just be collecting dust. Comes with a 4 way footswitch, there is a scratch to the tolex on top due to a careless bandmember, have tried to show this in one of the photos. The ABM 500 EVO III is a 575 watts RMS bass amp head designed to satisfy both bass-purists and tech-heads alike. Three straightforward rotary tone controls provide 20dB of cut and boost at 60Hz, 660Hz and 5kHz, and are supplemented by two pairs of additional sliders giving 15dB cut and boost at 180Hz, 340Hz, 1.3kHz and 2.6kHz. The EQ can be switched in/out by a footswitch, enabling players to go from a flat fretless sound to a boosted sound via a favourite EQ setting. A single input is switchable for passive and active instruments with a blend of solid state and dual triode tube preamps stages which can be preset and selected by footswitch, providing access to a massive range of clean, warm and overdriven tones. Also footswitchable is the on-board compressor and the mighty Ashdown sub-harmonic generator which precisely tracks the main signal and reproduces it an octave lower. A sub-harmonic level control enables the player to add just the right amount of low-end reinforcement - everything from a subtle, thickening of the sound to unbridled, bone crushing tone. The ABM 500 EVO III features a front-panel mounted balanced DI out with pre or post EQ switching, a sub-bass output, a tuner output, an FX loop and a line input for the connection of an external sampler or sound source. Output muting cuts the signal from the DI output but leaves the tuner output 'live', allowing the player to tune up in silence. A new upgraded power section has faster transient attack, more headroom and even less noise Looking for £310 am prepared to posted, bass is situated in Wigan and could deliver free in and around the North West, May consider trades for Basses give me a shout with what you have. Cheers steve

Having just picked up an Ampeg Combo these 2 cabs are surplus to requirement. British made both are 300 watts at 8ohms with the circular handles and new Ashdown badge on front. Been gigged but in good condition Postage possible but collection would be preferred. Cabs are situated in Wigan, delivery possible in and around North West Looking for either £140 each or £270 if you want the pair, not really interested in trades at the moment however could possibly be interested in a jazz bass either CV or MIM with a bit of cash either way so try me. Sorry about poor quality of pics taken on my phone will attempt to get some better ones later. Cheers Steve

This is just what i'm looking for but bit too far away unfortuneately, if it had been closer would have def taken it off your hands Had the 220 watt version of ampeg combo was excellent, Good luck with the sale, give me a shout if you decide you can courier altho i'm guessing it would be cost prohibitive !!!! Cheers Steve -
Bought this about a week ago as i urgently needed a back up for some gigs i had last weekend, no longer required and can't really have cash tied up in this. Fiesta Red classic vibe precision in excellent condition has some small marks and swirls but no dents or chips. The bass has had the following upgrades Fender Original Vintage Pickups Upgraded wiring CTS Pots and Switchcraft Jack Authentic Precision Knobs 62 Tortoiseshell ( 3ply) Pickguard Fender Neck Plate The quality of these basses is well documented and with the upgrades this is a seriously good bass, gigged with it on Tuesday night and wasn't a noticeable difference to my Lakland BG. Will also include a Spider hardcase in the sale. Prepared to take a bit of a hit on this so will do it for £220 posted or will take £210 if you want to collect. Bass is in Wigan i will post some pictures later when i get home. Cheers Steve
If that's what you want to do, I've been thinking about trading my Duck Dunn for a Bob Glaub as I prefer a wider neck and my DD has a matched Lindy Fralin jazz pickup at the bridge. Drop me a line if you're interested though I'm not 100% on this
Had a duck dunn a while ago was a great bass but couldn't get on with the neck i really struggle with jazz width necks -
I'm good thanks Steve. Busy with work and a new band. Funnily enough, I've just got rid of my second P bass too as I couldn't see the point in hvaing 2 that did the same thing Still cricketing?
Yes i am was persuaded out of retirement at end of last season to play in 1sts as we had an injury crisis was coaching at the time, and been persuaded to carry on this year, finding it tough physically as we have had 3 double headers in the last 4 weeks and standard is very high, bowling is ok just the fielding takes its toll we did 63 overs bank holiday monday hard work hahaha !!!!!
