1. Bump for price drop to £200.00 Cheers Steve
2.
I'm in excatly the same boat with mine. So much so I think I'm going to sell my BG.
I'm the same really don't need 3 basses but i've had the BG from new and spent quite a bit getting it refinished by Dave Wilson not sure i can bring myself to sell it tho even tho i can't see it getting any use for the foreseeable, think i'll pack it away for a while.
3. I have used my Lakland BG almost exclusively to gig for the last 5 years never found anything that came close no matter what i tried , have to say bought one of these as stock off the website so good not used the Lakland since and have just bought WOT's White Jake as well. These are amazing basses at the price point quality of build, attention to detail and the hardware is superb to get this quality elsewhere i suggest you would pay a substantially higher price. i'm aware everything is subjective but i'd be suprised if anyone ordering one of these basses either stock or as a custom build was disapointed Cheers Steve
4. Up for sale is my Ashdown ABM 210 500 EVO 11 Combo spec is outlined below : This has been gigged extensively but is in decent condition comes with the ashdown 4 way footswitch, there is a wheeled flightcase as well should anyone want it bit battered but fully functional , i have never used the flight case as it's a bit cumbersome. I love the tone of this amp classic ABM only reason i'm selling is i have bought a fender rumble as i needed something lighter for ease of transport Due to weight and size i can't really post combo is in Wigan in the North West post code is WN5 9HX For anyone who doesn't mind the weight this is a great combo at the price I will add some photos later today if you have any other questions please drop me a pm Specifications Power Output (RMS) 575W Speaker Configuration 2 x 10" BlueLine bass drivers + HF tweeter Frequency Response -3dB at 17Hz and 30kHz Speaker Outputs Minimum impedance 4 Ohms  Sub Output DI Output Tuner Output EQ Bass +/-15dB @ 45Hz Middle +/-15dB @ 660Hz Treble +/-15dB @ 7kHz shelving Slider 1 +/-15dB @ 180Hz Slider 2 +/-15dB @ 340Hz Slider 3 +/-15dB @ 1.3kHz Slider 4 +/-15dB @ 2.6kHz Shape (Push Flat) +8dB @ 50Hz & 4kHz, -8dB @ 400Hz, filter slope - 6dB/octave Effects Send & Return H x W x D (mm) 587 x 610 x 335 Weight (kg) 38
5. Wanted a PJ for a new project and as an alternative to my Bob Glaub been watching the thread with interest and based on the comments about people's experience and quality of the instruments decided to order a jake from stock. Buying experience was excellent bass arrived 3 days after ordering it First impressions really light, excellent finish quality hardware , haussel pick ups are really hot , neck slimmer and shallower than I would normally choose but found it really easy to get used to Used at rehearsal last night sounded great in a full band setting, normally use flats but have left the rounds on and am liking the contrast. Sorry about the poor quality pictures but you get the idea
6. That is so tempting Karl i don't need it but it's just round the corner Cheers Steve
7. Thanks for that Marc i can only assume the market is really slow at the moment or maybe the level of relicing is putting some people off !!! It is a really good bass am beginning to think i may just keep it !!! Cheers Steve
8. Bump for another price drop now £600 including fully insured postage anywhere in the UK Cheers Steve
9.
I absolutely love the colour of this bass. Think it might possibly be a bit too 'reliced' for some people's taste. I love it.
Yes you may be right the relicing thing is very subjective, all i can say is that if you can get past that its a superb bass
10. Thanks Stu it definitely is an awful lot of bass for the money, i can only think it's the colour that's putting people off !!!
11. Really need to shift this now so will reduce this to £625 posted Thanks Steve
12. This bass is an absolute bargain at this price pity you don't like Pink !!!!
13. Have a bump for the best P basses around if my limelight sells I'll be in touch otherwise GLWTS although at that price I'm sure you won't need it Cheers Steve
14. I've got a skyline Bob Glaub easily the best bass I've ever had, no matter what else I try always come back to the Lakland mines a 2007 and I've had it from new
15. Hi Marc Thanks for that just to clear up confusion as i've been asked a couple of times the neck is a standard P width neck, i'm the other way i can't cope with Jazz width necks. Cheers Steve
16. This is a bit of a feeler to see if there is any interest out there, Bass is only 3 months old however I can't get past the fact that I always go back to my Lakland BG and this is to good a bass to have sat on a stand as a back up. It's a shell pink medium/heavy relic with matching headstock with rosewood board, rolled finger board with clay dots, tort guard, reverse gotoh tuners, thumb rest ,bridge pickup cover, bass also comes with a Thomann tweed hard case, the bass is strung with Lakland medium guage flats. The shell pink was a custom colour so was an extra cost as was the matching headstock and bridge cover. Not really looking for trades however could be tempted by a cheaper P bass to use as a back up plus cash my way. Looking for £750 which will include postage, bass is in Wigan and if you want to collect the price will be £725 with a brew and maybe biscuits thrown in, if you have any other questions please feel free to ask and I will try to answer them
