5. I got this recently off Mike on the forum to have another foray into the world of Jazz Basses, however i have decided beyond doubt that it's precisions all the way for me, and as i have seen something that appeals on the for sale forum i need to raise some cash. That said this is a quality bass previously had a j retro fitted however it has now been returned to passive and now sports it's original mint pickguard. i have attached a link to the original add for photos as i am at work but will add some of my own later. Since i received it the bass has been professionally set up and had the electrics Checked over by Richie Thomson in Wigan and is now fitted with a set of medium gauge Joe Osborn Flats. There is some slight damage to the body due i'm led to believe to a courier however the offending piece has been glued back in and from a distance is not noticeable, the damage is shown on one of the photo's in the original thread, i will however take a couple more and add them later. Bass is in Wigan and i'm looking for £500 posted which will include a gig bag and will be boxed and padded. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask, not interested in trades at the moment as i'm looking to raise funds to purchase the other bass unless of course you have a lakland Duck Dun http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 Cheers Steve

9. Only got this a couple of weeks ago from James and it is a stunning bass however a Lakland DJ4 has come available and i have been looking for one for some time so this will have to be sacrificed in the cause. As it says in the title it is the Sunburst Version in excellent condition with a great neck, Has a real vintage vibe to it and feels nice and played in. Hope james doesn't mind but have put on a link to the original for sale thread and photo's. The quality of the roadworn series is well documented, am looking £575 posted including a generic hardcase or £560 if you want to collect. The bass is in Sunny Wigan could also meet up somewhere mutually convienient if that is better. At the moment not looking for any trades unless you have a Lakland DJ4 or a stock Duck Dunn If anyone needs anymore info please drop me a pm http://basschat.co.uk/topic/211380-sold-fender-roadworn-jazz-sunburst-l595-insane-bargainity/page__hl__fender%20roadworn%20jazz Cheers Steve
10. On hold pending the usual Cheers steve
11. Have a bump on me i have one of these but with a maple board for me simply the best P basses on the market, don't let the skyline tag fool you these are more than comparable in every way with a Fender US P in every way, Wish i could justify having 2, whoever buys this is getting a bargain especially with the fralins !!!!! Cheers steve
12. I'll take this James pm'd you to sort details Cheers steve
13.
PM'd
back at you
14. Go on steve you know you want it haha , it is a great bass to be honest the problem for me is that i really prefer passive basses so if it's not gone by the end of the weekend i'll probably withdraw it and have it returned to passive only, Cheers steve
15. Sale price reduced to £500 posted while road worn jazz is still for sale Cheers steve
16. Hi Dave how are things with you, it is a great bass i just struggle with the active thing it's just not for me really Cheers steve
17. If someone would buy my duck Dunn I would take this straight away however I've a feeling it won't be around long, Cheer steve
18. As stated in the title this is a Lakland Duck Dunn which has had a Hanson active Pre amp fitted, bought off here from Lloyd the bass is immaculate and has a great range of tones, can be used either in active or passive mode, unfortunately me and active basses just don't get on and while i could just use it in passive mode that seems a waste. Tried to get some more info about the active circuit from Lloyd all we are sure of is that it is Laklands own and was fitted prior to him buying the bass. Bass is in Candy apple red, has the lakland hanson pick ups Rosewood board with binding and blocks and as usual with Laklands is finished superbly, Am open to trades on any of the following, passive duck dunn without the upgrade, jazz bass fender or clone thereof especially interested in Roadworn jazz, series, will also consider another P bass in short i'm fairly flexible so try me, only stipulation is must be 4 string and passive may be prepared to add some cash for the right bass, trade value is £550. Due to the fact i want to but Mooshs roadworn jazz i will reduce the sale price on this to £500 posted while that is still available, trade value is still £550, hope that makes sense Any questions let me know Cheers Steve
19. Paul bought some strings from me payment within an hour excellent transaction great guy to deal with Cheers steve
20. Got a set of Labella FL760 Flats unopened for sale, bought these to use on a new bass as at the time Lakland Flats were out of stock however before i had chance to fit them Laklands came back in stock, so these won't get used. With regards to the packaging when i ordered these they didn't have any 4 string sets in stock so they rang me to say they could send me the 4 strings from a 5 set but wouldn't have the fancy packaging, just thought i'd mention that as they are obviously advertised as new and a buyer may have expected them to be packaged as such. Shall we say £27 posted Cheers Steve
21. I've just bought some e mailed me to say postage would be $7 so will wait and see what happens as regards duty. My favourite strings by a long way, when i couldn't get them i bought some Labella FL 760's for the Duck Dunn i've just bought then they came back in stock, So the labellas will be going up for sale.
